What would bring HS to the next level?

The game feels extremely stale right now with new expansions don’t really help. Every new expac, people get excited for 1-2 days and then the entire ladder start using the same 2-3 tier-1 decks found out by streamers.

And with streamers and players leaving the game left and right (all of my followed streamers are either playing BG or LoR at the moment), I can’t see how HS would survive for long. So what do you think would help HS to get back to the race? Following are some of my opinion:

1/ Get rid of the cash payment system. Everything should only be acquired with in-game currency (gold).

2/ Increase the speed of expansion update. We don’t need a big expac with 100+ cards anymore. Just give us 10-20 new cards every 2 weeks to refresh the meta.

3/ Kick BG out as an individual application, it’s drawing players away from the main game and killing HS.

4/ Let players (especial ones being active in the official forum) to take part in the card balancing and design process. Reality proved that devs don’t have enough expertise to design cards. So, just stick with what they are the best (coding) and give all the balancing to me (or posters like me).

Why tho its good like that, people can switch from ladder to bg or arena in few clicks without opponening new application.

You are another free-lunch protestant. Yelling “Blizzard love to rob people make HS 100% F2P to make us try-hards feel like a champion!”

No ways of buying cards. Good, please make an ad complaining thread and shout at Blizzard devs all day. You only feel like you know it all. At the most only Legend qualified players should make one suggestion per expansion MAX. Posters like you? Only say “Nerf DH hero power to 10 Mana, all minions should cost 10 Mana more.” and want to nerf cards Every. Single. Time. you lose a game :expressionless: :expressionless:

BG is great as an add on and most people playing it find it more fun than the core game. If they separated it out I think those players would just leave. I don’t think that’s a solution.

I do wish Blizzard consulted well known streamers and players for their input on new cards. Most called out the problems far in advance of the nerfs.

I for one wouldn’t be happy with the concept of multiple smaller card additions. I like the big spectacle of 100+ card adds and since I’m not playing hours a day it seems easier to keep up with. I hate changing decks constantly and I get the feeling others do as well. Keeping the card adds limited to certain periods allows metas to shake out as well.

I bet I would be able to bury HS in single expansion

Because the protestants keep shouting and heat me up. If you also want a subscription based free-for-all mode visit this thread: New Mode Suggestion: Custom Hearthstone or find it on my summary. At least give the hungry chickens what they want to stop them from shouting.

I don’t think the word Protestants means what you think it means…

They want everything, progress, all cards and less creativity overall. You know I mentioned MTG duels which died and a Chinese CCG which also died because they made the entire game this way, I will delete my account if they start to sell on expansion for $20 or a subscription model or 100% free cards, free cards encourages F2P and only few people will buy skins unlike the guy said, and I will watch HS‘s death after that.

That’s all well and good…but why do you keep calling everyone Protestants? I’m really curious to understand what you think that means.

They want bad changes in HS badly and say “The devs don’t need to feed their family they are millionaires already now change HS” in a loud manner isn’t protesting? they want change and take loud actions :expressionless:

You might want to Google the word Protestant. You are claiming that everyone in this thread belongs to a sect of Christianity. Maybe that’s what you’re going for? You really don’t ever make sense so who knows.

I think the word you are looking for is “protester”.

Oh god… I can see it now. Another call out thread in a few months for someone to pay their bets…

@OP

I’d be okay with monthly updates. But 2 weeks? When will they have time to nerf anything? lol

Too late. Someone else already mentioned people will just leave.

I like you. LMAO. This is just the best thing I’ve heard today and I’ve been chatting with our friend the angry programmer here.

What would bring it to the next level? Tourney mode

Noooooooo! Only Legend qualified players who knows very well should make one suggestion per expansion MAX. I am tired of hearing cards getting nerf again and again because some random noob boi on bronze lost a bad game of RNG! And no! A free game can have in-app purchases, even 100% free things have their premium versions. And many players just don’t get they idea of CCG, but rather have a all-free for all messy boring game where all players play the same decks and some trolls just use full Legendary ones, these games died too fast you guys wouldn’t understand it would be 500% better if it’s a separate mode to feed those “hungry, soliciting” players. *anything quoted does not count as assumptions or insulting statement, for emphasis purposes only

That’s a rather unorthodox definition of Protestantism. Unorthodox for the 21st century, at least.

Fair enough I’m not very religious. I know enough to understand that Protestants and protesters are different.

Duly noted and I’ll edit.

I said free-lunch protestant boi, for emphasis of players who have belief in changes to HS the same as a religious person who never change their mind. I am not starting a religious discussion :expressionless:
@TatalNoob You said you don’t like: “protester who vomits slurry of chaos in a garbage dump”
