I am a challenger Lol player and i remember TFT was just out of my brain and so does hearthstones bg evade me. This is SO confusing

its an autobattler like TFT.
It’s not newbie friendly.
One cannot locate tutorial.
Every season this BG mode is changing with new rules and minions.
There are also hidden rules and timing issue.
It’s really a bad job promoting it for a good game mode.
Honestly BG is way more accessible than TFT
There’s way much less text to read, and things happen sequentially, not all at once
The less beginner-friendly side of it is that it gets MAJOR changes each season
You mean the 6-years old tutorial that only has obsolete cards and doesn’t explain minion pools, armor, damage protection, keywords, hero powers, trinkets, buddies, anomalies or duos ?
All the tutorial does is telling
- a minion costs 3 gold
- you can sell them for 1
- a triple fuses into 1 card
- it gets you a spell to get a stronger minion
- level up the tavern for better minions
- roll/freeze
- damage is tier-based
Those are the basics, I wouldn’t call them “everything” explained
