So playing the brawl, i tried twice to put togheter a Draenei deck. But i feel, the Draenei cards for Priest and Neutral are not strong. Like okay, you can copy a 6mana 4/8 Divine shield taunt lifestill, which is good, but not thaat good in today HS. Also Velen dont do to much in Priest again. What BC and DR am i copying?
The rest of the new card i feel is a support for a midrange Priest or overheal maybe? Given Velen was a Priest card in the old days, i was expecting some bigger Draenei effect. I konw, its hard to tell, maybe some aggro board based Priest will take off.
Overheal and Zarimi. Everyone else is getting new fun stuff for this expansion…starships, asteroids, Librams, crew members, replicating spores and Priest is getting diddly squat.
Such is the life of a Priest main. Thus, I’ve been maining DK recently. They get all the fun stuff.
Priest cards seem to be side options and support cards for existing decks.
Like they can set their health to 42.
They are getting a a 0 mana board control tool. Not a clear, but when used correctly it should neuter enemy minion attack.
The closest to a package where you build a deck around are some draenei stuff… but draenei tribe seems to really like tempo, and tempo priest is a fickle thing
Or they are possibly combo cards for some combo that people haven’t discovered. Stuff around overheal and giving minions health.
Then there’s the legendaries. The draenei one obvious is for draenei synergy. The other one… reminds me of lyra. Lyra can and cannot win games by itself. It’s really dependent on RNG and whether enemy can deal with it (and then deal with it 5 more times as priest have ways to copy/res minions )
edit: like just now me HL pally vs HL priest. He played like 3 aman’thuls and 3 yoggs in the game.
He still lost cuz yogg RNG hated him

I mean, at least that’s an OTK. This guy didn’t even build a theoretical OTK. It’s also a 6 card combo he needs because he needs a minion on board and it needs to be damaged and it’s STILL not enough damage.

But he’s a great deck builder guys, his homebrews beat all the meta decks and isn’t red against any meta deck and he’s “giving this away” to us. We should be so blessed!
Unless I’m mistaken on how it works (cuz I almost never play the card lol), a single holy spring water plus its bottle on a full health minion can overheal for 16, for 3 mana
Two of those in theory would add 32 health, which without armor or rena is OTK levels of damage
Doing that twice is 6 mana
The minion is a 3 drop
Crazed alchemist is 2
You’re at 11 mana, so you need that 2 drop mech, or you keep up that legendary spell that discounts your first spell each turn, or you have coin, or… even griftah trinket that discounts your hand.
You do have to keep 4 cards in your hand possibly for a long time though. Then again, consider that something like Sif mage might hold onto 2 or 3 nuke spells plus sif. Handbuff pally may be holding onto leeroy and pirates for a long time.
Now consider zarimi, who basically gaurantees you have a minion live a turn on full health. A zarimi deck might win board, in which case you might not even need both spring waters and let the rest of your board finish the job.
But is this 3 card burst better than say just run a single alex to set their health to 15, then smack face with board? Or save up gorg’s 2 mana summon minions on the zarimim turn so you can smack them with three 10 drops?
Even if it’s an OTK, it seems to be a lot of work for dubious reward.
Obviously it’s not the only WinCon of a deck, there are two other WinCons that come along with this one - would jump anyone with experience right in the eye.

Someone put this into the hall of shame. Overheal doesn’t require any minion to be damaged.

Lol, you dummy. You use the card BEFORE and get the +7 bottle out of it which doesn’t require any character to be damaged anymore. You want to have the bottle for 1 Mana not for 2.
You’re just trying to backtrack. I specifically said you have to have a damaged character first and you said you didn’t. Your combo that you posted in order doesn’t even work properly.
You can’t target your minion that you want to hit face with unless it’s damaged with the very first card you said to play.
Your combo is literally getting worse and worse as you big a deeper and deeper hole.
