Just wondering what other games people are playing that are similar to Hearthstone.
Magic Arena , Yu Gi Oh Duel Links, Shadowverse,Legends of Runeterra just to name a few but i pretty much played every card game out there.

While it’s not a lot like HS I’ve been playing Animation Throwdown lately. For those that don’t know it’s a card game that uses Family Guy, American dad, Bobs Burgers and King of the Hill as the subject for the cards. It’s fun but definitely not something you want to try to play competitively unless you want to spend a lot of cash. But just casually it’s a very fun and fast paced game.

I am very mono when it comes to games. I only play a few genres and in those genres i generally only play one of the available games.
I have not once even tried a different cardgame or auto-battler for example.
The only exception i guess is board games,i have played (and still play occasionally) all sorts of boardgames. Monopoly,risk,chess,go,stratego,backgammon,catan just to name a few.
Duel Links. And I used to play Faeria when it was free, that was actually my favorite digital card game
closest to it would be Baiten Katos battle system…its not a card game but the attacks options are cards…haven’t play it in a long time though
other would be final fantasy 8 and final fantasy 9(barely played them XD)…card game is a mini-game within both of them
other than these…nothing else that is cards related
games which i invested huge amount of time are
Diablo 2(b4 my 40 accounts expired)
Maple Story(b4 they mess up hang out maps(similar to what cataclysm did in WoW)…the disgusting pay to win…and the hand holding ppl as if we could not comprehend simple maths)…but mostly the pay to win aspect which were demanding 300,000$ from players
World of wacraft(played Cata to end of Draenor…returned middle of BFA and what i saw was a nightmare…slavery grind fest for everything…i chose to perma quit it by the end of bfa…too exausting and demanding)
Phantasy Star Online 2(planning to go back when i feel less lazy to get a brand new comp)…but i prob be moving to “PSO2: New Genesis” which the next generation of the PSO serie game…and its directly tie to PSO2(suppose to keep some items from PSO2 when moving over there(new genesis))
i have no other game plans after that
I don’t play any other CCGs. I do play World of Warcraft, Hearthstone’s inspiration, though.
I barely have enough time to play Hearthstone many days so I don’t really invest much of that time into other games, but I’ve dabbled in Shadowverse and LoR when they first came out. No longer play either of them though.
I play this and MTG: Arena. They both use the 3 quest system so its easy to keep up with both and playing both breaks the monotony.
Side note, i’m kinda sad to see that MTG Legends is going to be canceled before it even makes it out of beta. Game looked interesting enough. Was like a card game mixed with an isometric ARPG kinda like diablo but the abilities you use are the cards in your hand/deck.
