im kinda confused. Never been to legend in wild before, just got there recently, and nobody is playing any deck that is slow whatsoever.
If you arent dead on turn 3, somethings wrong. its all insane turn 3 otk decks, or maybe they get out 5 8/8s on turn 2, whatever the case, why is everyone running these decks? do people just lose all creativity as soon as they hit wild legend? idk, maybe im just unlucky, but ive lost the last 10 or so games in a row in wild cause all my decks are controlish, or at least win on turn 7. I just played against another rogue who summoned 2 8/8 arcane giants on turn 2.

what point is there in having fun when a high rank is all that matters?
if you want fun, play casual like i do
You answered your own question before you even posed the question.
Some people want to play at being “creative” while most play to win.
It’s a game; winning is the point, not “creativity”.
wel I was creative and won, and it was fun
I guess i have to play casual to play my wild decks now, but casual is full of new players so i feel bad.
The mistake starts with taking Wild seriously. The format is obviously semi-abandoned. It’s ‘mathematically’ inevitable; it has exponentially higher complexity to balance than Standard and they barely balance Standard if they do; one can’t even make an argument that wild cards are weaker so balancing isn’t important additionally to standard because there are some devastating combos when you add old cards to Standard and the testament is …well you said it …dying on turn 2.
I kinda view wild as the more chill mode(at least in lower ranks), and its always fun to try stupid strategies. Rn im running a slagmaw deck with charge in it… as you can expect It has a 0% winrate(I keep going against plague death knight bots in wild, and handbuff paladins)
Wild legend is either very fast, or very slow. No middle ground:)
I bet Standard is way easier on its lowest ranks than Wild, we just don’t play Wild seriously and don’t see it. Wild on its lowest ranks might have some of the most broken netdecks because who knows what whale from Standard goes there rarely and makes whatever deck they want.
