What is the best strat to climb ladder?

Hi,

I’m trying to get higher ranks. only I can’t really get past platinum 5 / diamond 10.

I think I have pretty good decks, but if I’ve lost a few games in a row I don’t really come up anymore and I get stuck on the same one for a while.

Anyone have any tips for breaking through this barrier?

Decks I play in Wild format:
Murloc shaman
Mecha’thun warlock

and in standard format I play
Fell demon hunter
big demon hunter

I got my first easy legend this month with Druid Beasts on Standard.
For Wild I play my own list of Aggro Shadow Priest with Deathrattles and Xyrella hero, and Freeze Galakrond Shaman.

hey

do you have the deck code or any links to these decks. i have a lot of cards for Druid, Priest, Shaman, DH and warlock. And i have some spare dust so maybe i can build one of these decks.

The way I climb to the diamond 5-legend level consistently is by spending a lot of time on hsreplay. I spend the $5 per month to see the stats at higher ranks. I go to the matchups page and look for a deck with a good spread against the 5-8 most common decks in my bracket. I find the most successful version of that deck and jam that deck over and over to really learn the ins and outs of how the deck plays, strengths, weaknesses, outs in difficult matchups etc. Fel DH actually looks like a good choice in that regard because its only really bad matchup among the most played decks is ramp druid. Play the deck, learn the deck really well.

After each match take a bit of time to reflect on the match. If you won think about what was the turning point in the match that won you the game and what your opponent could’ve done to counter you. If you lost try to find the turn that lost you the game and figure out what decisions you could’ve done differently with the information you had available at the time that could’ve gotten you a different result. Never blame luck or RNG for a loss. Not every game is necessarily winnable but there’s always a lesson you can learn from even the most lopsided loss.

I’d say libram paladin has the better matchups across all classes.

Winning is a good strat for climbing

I find winning gives me stars as opposed to losing them

He’s trying to find what he can win with in terms of class and deck. Like, yeah winning is the goal, but how we get there is what this discussion is about.

I’m aware I’m just saying he didn’t say “what (deck) strategy do you use” so I’m making a joke on the missed word in the OG question lol

Getting past diamond is about limiting your mistakes.

Learning more about what the decks you are facing are trying to do and finding ways to play around their plays.

Your face hunter deck may be a bit outdated. But I may be wrong, just from my own experience anomaly looks inconsistent lately with trogg being more reliable.

I think I went and copied the most played Face Hunter deck. Some cards might be interchangeable. I only play hunter once in a blue moon, so can’t really say.

Best proven strat for competitive play is and always will be “be born lucky”.
You can have the best possible deck in existence, but it won’t matter if you draw bad every turn.

Semi-joking aside: Check HSreplay website. They offer a good amount of info on what decks are good for which rank. Best of luck friendo!
I personaly am perfectly content with just reaching diamond every month and then not touching standard at all. I just want that end of month rewards.

get ok to decent at handlock and enjoy your free legend.

I used Libram Paladin to reach Legend.

I used the exact deck that Killuminati has listed.

Exactly.
