How do I die on Turn 5 when I dont get to play a card? The game says, “We are matching you opponent based on skill” yet I dont play a card so what skill is there? They attack with two 18/18 charge on turn 5 how do I counter this play? Thank you for the help and sorry I am ESL spanish and learned a lot just playing thos game. I have played multiple times now and alwayd Turn/5 or 6. My deck everytime is always very slow and I like to play cards I think are fun yet I do not get to play anything. I am writing out of anger due to three games now I played no cards before turn 5 and lose. Three games in a row! So when will it be a “fair” match and I play cards? Thank you everyone.
Theres no issue here you dont need to have any skill to pull that off so the matchmaking is working fine.
You seem to be playing a Control style of deck with a late game aim, for sure this Hunter deck shouldnt kill you in so few turns with speeds that rival an aggro deck but you cant complain about losing to a combo deck when you spend 5 turns doing nothing.
You are playing against a hard counter(broken or not) you have little chance to win that matchup.
Game start at turn 1. You would lose even to the 2014 basic starter decks if you go 5 turns without ever playing a single card.
Yeah, it’s bad. Even if you did play cards, their King Plushes can just remove them to your deck when it’s time.
Am playing Wild now where that deck doesn’t take up 30% of the meta.
Ok, post your deck and we´ll see if we can help.
Imbue Plush is weak to anything aggro thanks to the lack of taunt, and it’s focused around pumping asap, so the player is going to try to get imbue out every turn instead of trying to kill threats.
Or if you don’t like aggro, Dirty Rat/Clumsy Steward can mess up or at least slow down their OTK, and warriors have Bulwark which can just deny the OTK
That’s the issue. Either you have fun, or you tryhard. Tryharding is only fun if you win, so you better pick fun if you just wanna have fun.
But that means you’re not gonna win a lot, I’m afraid. The better you want to be, the more discipline and boredom you have to suffer. People are fanatics. Some people literally don’t see any other way through life but to succeed at video games. They will play boring, unfun broken decks because their alternative looks much, much worse
So what do you really want? Do you really want fun? Or do you want to be winning? It’s hard to always strike the balance between the two. Sometimes it’s possible, but most often, it is not.
P.S. I don’t think it’s normal to expect that you can simply pass turn 5 times and expect to be in the game. It wouldn’t even be fair, to be honest, towards other players. It would really be a bad feeling to lose against a person who hit end turn 5 times in a row. I would feel cheated and never play the game again. So get real.
EDIT: Oh wait, did I just fall for the troll post again? Obvious troll?
Just do what I do, push to legend then play whatever you want, been having fun with my rogue build, sure I lose more than I win, but it’s better than “Get X pieces, win”
