A random thought just pop…
Many a times, we (or maybe only myself) are very general about things we say.
When we say we want better communication, we seldom detailed the specifics.

As such, I looked through the past communications and I wonder if a more structured communication workplan is more beneficial or a random ad-hoc style can maintain better hype.

e.g.

  • A Q&A session after an expansion (3 per HS year)
  • A Designer’s insight for each nerf/buff patch (dependent on no. of balance patch)
  • A meta report (monthly)
  • Any other communications/articles are welcome but not required

While the chosen platform maybe elsewhere, there should be a link of it within this forum.

Did I miss out anything, or did I over-demand for unnecessary?
Feel free to comment and discuss.

Referencing to another thread that concerns DE of Wild cards, It seems the Dev’s ambiguous words again create a problem to the player base.

This type of statement create a scenario that create unrest to the players that cannot plan in advance to cope with the game. The game is designed with a structure that is very demanding of careful planning of individual resources.

While it seems like a heads-up to the playerbase, but it really just leaves players guessing and it does not help.

I would like to see the forum become the “hotspot” for Hearthstone news.

If they post an article on their blog, new tweets about changes to the game, etc, I’d like to see it all circle back here.

I’d like to see more blue and to see CMs put put in the effort that Jesse did to make this forum so much fun.

Little things like organizing the forum and double checking the automated system.

I know some people don’t mind, but my 24hr ban makes me hesitant to really speak on too much, or write silly posts, or make jokes.

The ban was short and not a big deal but this forum is important to me. I care about the game, I care about the players, and I spend a lot of time here.

Seeing it become more focused on “What’s Happenin @Blizzard” would give us a lot more to talk about and create a lot more discussion.

Personally, since my ban, I’ve been writing my thoughts about the game in a personal blog because I don’t know how people are going to take it.

It takes a lot of time and effort to earn those trust levels. I intentionally did it once but now I have to start over.

It’s frustrating when they care so little that even their ticket responses read like automated messages.
