Played some hero power mage with watchposts. First game went against tickatus x3 and they didn’t even play y’shaarj, so that was less than fun, but i was able to try out mordresh in my second game. also tried a c’thun spell mage which seems like it’s still somewhat viable.
got both warlock legendaries golden from the pre-order bundle, so i tried the self-burn deck. i wasn’t paying attention and mixed up the battlecry restrictions and tried to play Fireblade with cards in my deck when I meant to play Bristleback, so i lost that one
secret paladin and murloc shaman are fun too. got the murloc legendary from the reward track so was pretty happy about that.
Kazakus is probably the legendary i haven’t gotten yet that i want to try most.
No. Standard patron warrior using Gruntled Patron. It’s got a whole bunch of weird synergies in it

It’s got a whole bunch of synergies within it that take some getting used to and it’s sorta a midrange-ish deck
I’d like to take the credit but I stole it from watching Kibler’s stream. ![]()
I’m feeling the same. Saurfang is amazing but I often find myself holding back on him because I’ve only had one frenzy minion die. I’m only running 3. I’ll probably yank the E.T.C. out but I don’t know what I’ll put in his place. The 1/3 is not something you want your 7-mana guy to resurrect and the others all feel kinda meh. Maybe a Taurajo Brave.
ETC with Playmaker and Bumper Car + tokens is an awful lot of damage.
True, but I’m not running bumper car.
I’m more focused on the hand buff side and flooding the board with giant minions.
Rokara was love at first sight for me.
She does everything I want in a tempo Rush deck with ETC.
I don’t understand why Trump rated her poorly.
BTW, are you running Crabrider? Because Crabrider into Rokara seems like a fantastic curve.
Absolutely. Any deck with Rush synergies or buffs should be running that card 100%.
I’ve tried a few different versions of self burn warlock, adjusting each one, and this is what I’ve landed on and am feeling good with!
To be clear, I was hesitant to play with tickatus/y’shaarj, it’s always been a scummy finisher in my eyes; however, some important points:
To optimally play this deck, you CANNOT be afraid of burning finishers! the ONLY card you don’t want to risk is Neeru. To that end, you can’t be afraid to burn Jaraxxus, you can’t be afraid to burn Rustwix, and you can’t be afraid to burn any of the Tickatus pieces. My success rate with this deck is quite high- all you need is ONE finisher to supplement Neeru: Jaraxxus, Rustwix, Y’shaarj with Cascading support, or Tickatus vs the greediest of decks!
Altar of Fire has been slammed as a terrible card by the community, and it will probably be ignored by the “meta” sites, similarly to rustwix control last season; but believe me when I say you CAN climb with this thing, at least in the lower ranks

Mind sharing your list? I’ve burned myself out playing… Uh, the deck that’s SUPPOSED to burn me
Gruntled Patron. It doesn’t matter if you don’t trigger frenzy on the initial body because Saurfang doesn’t care (though it does help as it’s a great effect). If all Saurfang does is bring back 2 Gruntled Patrons then you still have 2 3/2, 2 3/3s with frenzy still possible, and a 5/4. That is a lot to deal with. If he brings back 1 whirlwind guy and 1 patron then you get a 3/3 with frenzy, a 3/2, a 3/1, a 5/3 and a 2/4 I think, I haven’t tested this one yet. Either way it makes a really difficult board to answer.
Sure. It’s from NoHandsGamer

I dabbled into several decks between warrior, dh, and pally. Not enough games in any of them to really say much.
My warrior was complete failure of a deck so I won’t go into details.
DH I tried to cram in some frenzy cards. It sucked. But one of the non-frenzy cards I put in was inquisitor aka king krush but better. And yes it has its moments. Might try a meme deck that tries to discount + faceless it.
Pally secret package is curve dependent, but if you do curve out, it’s pretty fast
Same can be said for warmedic. Tried Cariel’s chosen recipe (most of the cards anyway). When you get medic and/or cariel and whether you have holy spells in hand greatly determines how strong they are.
Also tried dudes with lothraxion and kazakus. Former seems to be important if dudes want to go the distance, while the latter is pretty strong.
One deck that I only played like one game but think could see more experimentation is libroom. Draw is definitely weaker, though if you somehow survive the early turns you can probably still do the usual penflinging thing. I’m gonna try running watchtoers because it seems some people think it’s OP.
