What happens when you have already 3 quests

What happens when Monday come and you still have unfinish weekly quests? Do the 3 new are added to the unfinished ones, or are we only getting less quests?

By example, I still had 1 unfinished weekly quest on Monday. I received only 2 more, or 3 more and the 3rd one will become available once I finished the others?

And is it the same for Daily quests?

You will get fewer quests if you do not complete them all in time. This week I had two leftover weekly quests from last week and only received one new quest.

Daily quests are the same. If you already have 3 and do not complete one, you will not receive a new quest the next day
