Seriously now, doesn’t this package highlight they don’t really think very deeply about the overall design picture of the stuff they print?
You gave rogue a set of cards designed to copy cards from your opponent in a set where you decided that half of the classes would have a mechanic that the other half just cannot use. And you did this while deciding rogue wouldn’t be one of those classes? Why would I put mimicry in a deck when I know half of my opponents will be running cards I literally can’t use? Why would I run Satyr? Just so I can spend 4 mana to shuffle one of their cards back into their deck? Did you really think Ashamane was a win condition? Like where exactly where you trying to go with this?
At least Nightmare Fuel is an ok card but the fact the only new mechanic for rogue to use this expansion is 1 mid Dark gift card is quite unfair. Imbue should at least improve basic hero powers for non-imbue classes.

Burgle it’s ok in small doses, one or two cards tops per expansion, but when they try to make it the central mechanic of the class, for at least a year maybe two years the result is gonna be this.
Honestly I’d be happy if they returned to secrets and cheap combo enablers or coin generators that also work as combo enablers.
There is a deck out there but it’s not good enough in the current meta. This is probably good because the deck is designed to get the board then lock out the opponents hand for 2-3 turns so they can play nothing. That would end up getting nerfed so fast the player base would get whiplash.
I was wondering today if Envoy of the Glade can enable some broken Rogue things but I don’t know.
Burgle has been relegated to the bottom of meme tier for a long time now.
I love burgle rogue, i play it more than anything, but if they are going to keep printing trash epics and legendaries that you cant even get out of your hand, id rather they just give us tools that are actually useful.
Tricky satyr and nightmare feul are actually decent tech cards at least. Satyr can farm ceaseless expanse since over 50% of decks run it lol
What I Love in hs design is that rogues have sinergy with: Combos, weapons, pirates, damage burst, stealth, secrets, etc.
But the only archetype they force u…is burgle.
This is basically team 5 admiting their lazyness in actually building something interesting instead of an unfun casino strategy cuz it requires low creativity and maintenance.
Even weapon rogue is sitting in the corner crying with this expansion, while a horde of Arkonite Defense Crystals dance around it, taunting the poor creature.
