What do you do after hitting legend rank

Second time hitting legend rank 2 months straight, but everytime I make it I lose the drive to play rank anymore. Is there better rewards for continuing to climb once you’ve hit legend or is that it?

The reward for continuing to play is to enjoy playing; if you don’t enjoy playing, then the reward is that you don’t have to grind anymore

Only thing to gain by climbing higher is the chance to get 11 stars next month if you’re high enough on the legend ladder.

I have no idea where that cut off is currently.

That changes from months to month.

I’ve gotten it at 4k, I’ve failed to get it at 1.5k it just depends on how many are playing.

I’ll let you know if it ever happens. Currently Silver 10-silver 9 has me at a standstill.

Try wild, its crazy and super fun.

or even solo adventures, but put a challenge on yourself, otherwise you will just be slapping bots from 2012 with cards from 2024.

Breathe a sigh of relief
Mess around as youre finally allowed to play something a little more loose than the meta grind decks
Try find a fun deck to hit legend with next season
Mess around in arena and retire alot of unplayable/unfun decks
Twist if its a reasonable season
NOT touching wild with a 10 ft pole :joy:

Build meme decks and gatekeep people from legend with them.

unless you plan on playing to win money, or stream on whatever, i dont see a point in trying to get a better rank

I just do quests and sometimes quick tournaments in Mobius for fun waiting for a new month to open the rewards and climb again.

As for me, I managed to reach Legend too today for the 2nd time in my life, so I am very happy now. And even with my own deck this time. :sunglasses: I wanna make some tests if after the MM changed, is it still give D1-D5 enemies for low rank Legends or not.

Sadly I have never made legend

HOWEVER, I HAVE MADE IT TO DIAMOND 10

so do with that what you will

After a few days playing in low Legend I have seen a shocking match… I have just got a Gold 4 enemy… Gold 4 for a low rank Legend… nice match up… I even made an SC about it… so can prove it… this is where I have lost all the trust in this game… And what did it play? The stupid OTK druid ofc… one of the most broken craps right now… GJ Devs… you killed the game again… This is madness…

Keep trying! Therd was a time I thought I’d never reach D5. Then I got legend for the first time last week!

You either stop playing for the month or see how far you can take it. 10K legend is not the same as top 1000 legend. Top 1000 legend is not the same as top 100 legend (a place I’ve never been).

Of course all of this (including hitting legend in the first place) is all predicated on how much time you are willing to invest. If hitting legend is fine and you sit at whatever placement then log off and play something else. For me sometimes I’ll grind to hit top 1000 which usually isn’t hard because I usually place within top 3000-2000 and I usually will get 80 points per win and it’ll start dropping off to like 20 points and eventually 10 points once I get to top 1000. At that point I need to ask myself if hitting top 500 for the month is a goal and that depends on how much I’m working, how much I want to see friends, and how much I want to play other games. This month I entered into top 3000 legend the third day into the season and right now I’m sitting at 800 legend but I only play for like 30 minutes to an hour a day and I play a bunch of really BS deck meant more for fun than climbing.

Sometimes my schedule is free and I don’t have other games to play but I have other online games I play such as Tekken and I play shmups pretty regularly to do 1CCs that I haven’t completed. Recently the push was Elden Ring DLC, before it’s been BG3, then it was BG3 honor mode, then it was BG3 solo honor mode, it’s been Ultrakill, it’s Hades and Hades 2, tomorrow it might be something else. Highest I’ve been is top 300 legend and MAYBE one day I’ll do the grind, have the luck, and play the right decks to hit top 100 but for now I’m content.

Meme decks. You create meme decks.

Maybe. Losing still hurts MMR which will affect your placements for next season if you care about placing in a decent spot hitting legend consecutively.

I play decks that I think are fun but I also usually hit legend with off-meta decks so there’s no reason to change things up. I also have the MMR to spare for some losses because I usually enter legend at 3000 and end at around 1000 every season. If you are ending the season at 5K and want to climb higher without putting in a ton of work then you should probably not have a ton of losses so that you can build your MMR. That’s IF you care about where you place or if hitting legend at any ranking is good enough.

Lol I got to legend for the first time last week and since then I lost 99% of my games because of meme decks (like Amalgam DK) that can never ever beat druid or warrior cancer.
