Res priest by miles and turtle mage also.
So boring you get a board full of minions to be frozen almost infinitely, or face the army of infiltrators because you have no transforms or no counters drawn in time.

I’ve got to diamond 8 and only just encountered my first turtle mage last night, also I’ve only just been matched up against the new minimum effort druid deck, you know the one where all spells cost next to nothing and they buff the ever loving crap out of minions in play, in hand and in their deck. Total and utter fun-leech.
Thanks for the idea! I just made a taunt warrior and it’s great fun!
I Take back everything I said. Its mage they take 10 years on there turn’s because they are making there deck as they play >.>;;;!
Just played a 40+ turn game where I had a priest on the ropes, he’d burnt all his cards and was waaay into attrition, suddenly 5 vargoth and steal minion and my deck is now empty and his minions are now immune because my robe was one of the minions stolen. It sucks because there is no counter play apart from playing priest which just feels like scummy easy mode.
It’s matches like this where people run to the forums to rant and cool off because they had their fun leeched or simply quit and don’t return.
I feel your pain. There is 1 light at the end of the tunnel, that makes me smile.
I’ve beaten enough Priest to enjoy the really late turns.
There comes a time late in a priest game when Priest has like 7 useless cards in hand and maybe 4-5 cards in deck. It’s a time where they’ve used their 2 Plague of Deaths, 2 Mass Resurrection, 2 Convincing Infiltrators, etc. etc. etc. and the cards they have in hand and deck are basically not doing them anything to win. Sometimes I get to this point against Priest and it just feels good because you know they are done. No more tricks, no more resurrections. The smart ones quit with a full hand and cards in their deck. That moment is nice.
Priest for sure. It’s actually come to the point where I concede immediately because I don’t want to play a 30 min game that is remarkably boring. Priest is actually making me consider quitting Hearthstone all together.
That’s a bit drastic. Just because they are frustrating to play against doesn’t make them unbeatable. Furthermore… even if they somehow removed all the Priest resurrection cards and completely nerfed the current priest decks, there would be something else out there that is almost just as annoying. That deck would simply take over as the most annoying deck to play. Just look up above this post to some of the other decks mentioned. Some of them were annoying well before priest became what it is today.
The point is there will always be a most annoying deck to play against. Play because you love the good games, don’t quit because you hate the bad ones.
I sometimes like to try and climb in Ranked mode, but having to auto concede to Priest has made me lost interest in that. I don’t have the time to play 30 minute games. I can maybe play a couple games a day at best. So with that reality, it makes me question if it’s really worth it or not. I lose against many of the other classes all the time, but still have fun doing it. Playing against Priest is absolutely no fun and takes way too long.
Not every priest deck plays steal cards. As for the discovery, I would say priest is the least offender right now. Just take a look at how many cards paladins, mages and rogues can get if they want to. It’s a lot worse than priest.
LOL as if anything takes skill to play in constructed. 90% just copy a netdeck and slap it in and pray for good RNG/highrolls. If you want to talk about some skill, play arena.
This is true, but playing priest should not feel like such a colossal ball-ache every game, you shouldn’t have to rely on the perfect draw to shut them down.
They are sandal wearing pacifists, not the end boss of AAA game.
Priest is a tough sell in a CCG. The social aspect of cards is what helps make classes like priest more tolerable. Being face to face with a player changes the dynamics. Sometimes I wish I could talk to the other players. I realize this is not possible because of the shenanigans of some players, but I feel this is a bit of the missing Link with making long, drawn out games work well. How often do you just sit to somebody in games like World of Warcraft?
Another social aspect that I have underestimated, is social media. The top players all know each other now, and I think that makes the game much more enjoyable to them. They have become a community
all of them. no deck is fun in hs.
aggro decks…otk decks…mage running with the quest…usually over by turn 8 with them pulling 8 giant on board that are unblockable cause of the quest…mill is annoying unless your an aggro or otk player…only way to beat them is to summon mass deathrattle on board so they cant send everything back to hand(outside of an aggro or otk deck) …at least there Illucia for priests to possibly deal with mill rogue by turn 5…shuffle 3 illucias in their deck and they get hand clogged if they dont play it…only problem is cant keep illucia in opening hand vs rogue cause of all those aggro rogues out there :S
other than that i got a slight issue with warlock and the 4-8 guldans generation…thats about as bad as mill rogue with unlimited n’zoth
Woah you play Priest and win.
Where’s the shock?
Mill is so frustrating to play against that even though I have Kingsbane weapon legendary and all the cards required, I refuse to put other people through the hassle of facing it
I would say either mill (Wild) or rez priest (Standard and a Wild) are the most annoying decks in the game. Mill at least takes some thought, rez priest is just step 1.) play big lifesteal taunt dr minions, then step 2.) rez them. Step 3.) rez them again step 4.) rez them again step 5.) rez them again
Also why I refuse to play rez priest despite having all the cards for it
