What BUFFS would you like to see?

Constant talk about nerfs in the forum due to Blizz’s perpetual failure to effectively balance the game. Instead of what should be nerfed, I’d like to know what BUFFS people would like to see to help bring other classes in line with hunter. Any classes out there that are 1-2 buffs (besides reverting recent nerfs, obviously) away from competing?

I’d like to see buffs to Big Demon Hunter. I don’t know what specifically.

I’d love to see some reverts to nerfed card, and buffs to both viable and semiviable cards and archetypes. My full list:

Reverts to nerfed cards:

Mage Questline
Shaman Questline
Warlock Questline - but change to damage from your own cards and hero power
Stealer of Souls
Dragonbane Shot
Kolkar Pack Runner
Granite Forgeborn
FWA
From the Depths - 3-mana, reduce the bottom 3 cards by 3
Nellie - pirates cost 3 less, but no less than 1
Drek’Thar - recruit 1 minion, draw another
Pufferfist
Mor’Shan Watch Post
Mr. Smite

Buffs to real decks to make them more competitive:

Coordinated Strike - 2-mana
Rise to the Occasion - remove the “different” word
Kidnap - counter a minion, then stuff it into a bag
Sticky Situation - summons a 3/3 spider that summons 2 1/1 spectral spiders on death
Plague Scientist - “Battlecry: the next minion you play this turn has poison”
Hooktusk - 7-mana 7/7, 7 pirates
Mana Tide Totem - 2-mana 0-2
Abyssal Curses - make them tick at the end of the warlock’s turn
Iceblood Garrison- 1-mana
Crazed Wretch - +3 when damaged

Buffs to meme/forgotten cards:

Sheldras - 7-mana
Rodent’s Nest - 4/2
Venomstrike Bow - 3-mana
Defias Blastfisher - 4-mana
Celestial Ink Set - 3 durability
Antonidas - 7-mana 5/7, 4 fireballs
Haleh - 7-mana
Iceblood Tower - 9-mana
Smythe - 4/4 soldiers
Apothecary Helbrim - 4/3
Cera’thine - 4-mana 4/6
Glaciate - 5-mana
Krag’wa - 5-mana
Remote-Controlled Golem - golem parts have rush
All Caravans - 1/4

Everything Warlock. :sunglasses:

Buffs to Priest change quest to 1 step complete by using hero power make reward 3 mana create 0 mana shard in hand. Everyone happy Priest 100% win rate when going first and thus 50% winrate overall because half the game you go second and it would be best class in meta.

They could eliminate Questlines, and I would be elated.
I hate them all.

I know you mostly play wild, but what quests are run in standard nowadays? This might be a brain fart.

Heck if I know. You could tell me a unicorn deck is tier 1, and I would at least check HSR.
I haven’t been back since Colossals, which I also hate.

Really? I love colossals. I’d love to see more. I think they’re a fantastic addition and not the problem.

I take issue with all cards that do loads of things.
I’m ok with a card that does x and even y.
But colossals do too much, and so do a lot of what Blizzard has printed.
Add brann and parrots etc. and the game turns into an auto play where you just sit and wait to lose.

Could you elaborate? I don’t see colossals as doing too much. They have what’s almost a battlecry but what’s better is that it’s not a battlecry in that these minions can be summoned (or resummoned) and their effect still activates. I find this new interaction very interesting for the game.

This is of course not to say there aren’t legitimate problems with Hearthstone standard (I am clueless about wild). My biggest beef right now is that Beast Hunter is a) overtuned and b) overplayed.

That’s the part I hate.

I imagine you have the cards. I’m using this Spooky Mage deck I found being run at top legend and am doing well with it. Grant it I’ve only reached gold 5 so far but I haven’t had any matches yet that feel unwinnable. You should give it a try and see what you think.

To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

I don’t mean any disrespect, but I refuse to play spooky mage.

That’s ok. May I ask why?

I don’t think token decks have much to do with mage.

If there’s one nerf I’d like to see reverted, it’s the naga mage nerf.

Ya know, that might still be viable. I forget which streamer but I found a list not long ago that actually performed well. I’m not a very good player and so obviously did not play it to its full potential. In the right hands, I think this could work.
