All it takes in a BG is 2 minions, golden or otherwise, with triple digit health/atk and you can win. two and the rest of the minions can be trash if you get a decent hero with a busted buddy.
Example, my recent game. It wsa the mech hero with the free windfury etc on a minion and a buddy that buffs said minions in the tavern, with those buffs, for free. They had TWO T1 golden nagas. TIER 1!!! I had a decent board of beasts that all had synergy. self damage for buffs to atk and health. relatively easy to get into top 4, right? 6 straight turns this dude took NO damage. I faced him twice, Beat him the first time and the second time he had two golden minions and triple stats. WHat the ever loving duck.
