To use this deck, copy it to your clipboard and create a new deck in Hearthstone

This is the deck i’m currently using, but I seem to get completely destroyed by facepaladin, dragon druid, orgrerogue and the likes. My winrate’s abysmal and i struggle to find any victories. I thought there would be more weird decks at super-low legend but its just all hypercompetitive decks or bots.

What is it about this Warlock deck that you want to play, despite it losing a lot?

This is the problem.

I agree with the sludge warlock is bad assessment. Discard sludge… any sludge. There are not enough ways to generate sludges and even if you do they always hit the 1/1 first making them a waste. Not to mention the units themselves are pitiful. A 4 mana 7/7 that destroys your own deck with a small chance of dealing 9 damage would have been laughable back in 2016 and even moreso now.

Fun deck idea though but no payoff anywhere to be found due to the package cards being weak (a 1/5 I’m shaking!)

I think sludge can play well in a mining deck, but I think this specific list is back-end heavy and should either go full control or more aggressive instead of trying to be both and failing at everything.

Renathal is the first thing I would dump.

This is too kitchen sink and you are likely finding your hand bricked both early and late in different games.

Sludge requires too much cards to be included to make worth including at all.

  1. Sludge generative cards
  2. Destroy deck cards

It’s simply not worth adding these above which are 10 cards at least in your Warlock deck. If OP wants to win, which seems like it since they are asking what they are doing wrong, they should try a last expansion Control Warlock deck, I remember nohands playing a version and finding success with it at the ends of TITANS.

If he wants to “meme” he should not expect to be winning with this deck list, obv.

I have thoughts on this, but I am not the best deck creator.

I have seen lists that combine the best of both of these - benefiting from the value of the excavations and the punch of the sludge. The main plan is to chip the opponent to death through the board and spells while building towards the snake. The snake can be used to tempo or to finish depending on the game situation. The goal is not to stack five bounce cards and pray, which is what happens in many mining warlock decks.

I do not have a list at hand, but I will look at it in a while after I wrap up some additional obligations.

I made sludge warlock to play something that was diffrent from straight up sneklock, but now it seems it is performing very poorly.

I can’t really find a warlock deck to play that doesn’t require copious amounts of dust.

Thijs posted a video for a sludge deck yesterday. It did very well for him, even at high legend. Very different from your list, so I don’t know if you will enjoy it.

That should be the deck code. The youtube video was a good watch as well. I’ve already encountered it twice on ladder.
