What’s Working? What’s Not? 08/02

This sort of topic is a daily one made over at the CompetitveHS subreddit, and it’s one of my favorite topics to read.

In vain of the title, what decks are working for you? What decks are not? This topic covers -today up until February 9th. Including rank
Is not enforced, but is definitely encouraged. Preferably, based on standard.

And so, what’s working? What isn’t?

To start us off, I not only love this deck, but Frost DK has been effective and with it, I am climbing swiftly. I am but gold 1 zero star bonus (my inactivity killed me) & having a blast. I have a long ways of reaching legend, but, time will tell!

How about you guys?

I enjoy playing Thief Rogue, but in terms of advancing up the ladder…it is definitely not working. So far, I play Thief Rogue until I make a few levels of ladder progress by luck, then switch to a more competitive deck to get to the next hard stop on ladder.

I swap between Dragon Paladin, Blood Reno DK and Thief Rogue. I think I have the highest win rate with Blood DK. But, I noticed that Dragon Paladin is great into aggressive decks like the Druid one, green DK and Imp Warlock so long as they don’t run a curse package. It’s also really good into Mage because you can discover the new 9/8 dragon that does 2 damage to all enemies at the end of your turn and for each honorable kill restore 4 health. So, you bait mage into playing the 6 cost clear that summons skeletons then board wipe them and heal to full off of it with the 9/8 dragon.
When I get frustrated and just need an RNG win I swap to miracle rogue and try to highroll my mulligan with the “Feel the Groove” Necrolord combo.
