Weird interaction with Yogg-Saron Master of Fate

This was a very weird interaction I recently had with an opponent who played Yogg-Saron Master of Fate. I don’t know if this is a bug or not, but it seemed too strange to be intentional.

So here’s what happened: I had a bunch of minions on board ready for a lethal next turn and my opponent played Yogg as a last resort. It landed on “Mysterybox”, which was great for him since he had played a LOT of spells during the match. The second or third spell that gets casts is ‘Psychic Scream’, which of course shuffles the entire board into my deck, including his Yogg.

When this happens, for some reason the rest of the spells from “Mysterybox” start casting on my side, as if I was the one who played Yogg instead of my opponent.

Has this ever happened to any of you? It seems such a specific scenario that it has to be a bug, since I would have never assumed the card would work like that.

It’s not a bug. So, what happens is that the ownership of Yog was transfered to you, meaning the battlecry also switched over to you (since it follows the minion). It happens with Psychic Scream, Treachery and Sylvannas’ Deathrattle.

Thanks for the reply. I never would have thought this was possible. I guess it’s just another way Yogg can stab you in the back. :slightly_smiling_face:
