Weapon Rogue is the most malignant type of deck right now

The meta is a spam of powerful boards with Deathrattles or Starship Pieces so silencing and mass-silencing of them would take care of them, but at he same time that would leave Weapon Rogues and Attack DHs and Hero Power Druids playing only from hand.

Hence the most malignant part of the meta is those decks existing. You play like a nerd only from hand and do nothing else.

This is the most inspired meta ever in Hearthstone; brought to us by the smartest, best-looking, wisest, and most benevolent developers ever. It is a perfect meta because they say it is, and weapon rogue is a shining example of the interactability they’ve crafted.

We live in the tech cards meta. You have a specific type of card in a specific matchup you need to have a chance.
Weapon rouge, viper.
HP druid, taunts and more taunts.
Zerg Dk, silence
Fizzle shaman dirty rat

Etc etc. Like it’s just same old same old. You have to play a deck that just fast,
No other game plan, no fun crafting your own “slower” decks.
You just sit there hoping you get that one card that can help counter the matchup or play something aggressive.

If you tech then the spam of zerg deathrattles will take over in no time.

There’s no way around it, lethaling from hand is malignant.

TBH I don’t mind weapon Rogue that much. At least it’s a change of pace from all the zergs, protoss, and terrans clogging Standard…and the ever-present armored cockroaches we call Druids (who now have even sharper claws to hurt you with!).

yes, viper against the deck that runs 0-2 minions and doesn’t ever clear the board, that makes sense.

edit: you mean rustrot lol, ok i’ll see myself out

You certainly have this bass ackward. Zerg DK makes taunt minions and spell disruptions almost inconsequential, hence the need for Hero Power Druid and Weapon Rogue. If Zerg DK didn’t build such massive minions and so easily reload, meaning your gameplan doesn’t have to revolve around dealing with or preventing those minions, the both of your malignant decks could easily be controlled by taunt minions and spell disruption. Zerg DK is the malignancy.

Weapon rogue’s aggression is pretty necessary in this meta because it prevents other decks from getting too greedy

Hero Power Druid is actually a better deck that does the same thing. Weapon Rogue cannot high roll into a turn 4 win while the druid can.

Running Rustrot Viper in my Shaman build and it is 100% worth it. Destroying Rogue’s beefy weapons, Painter’s Virtue, and other Shaman’s Horn of the Windlord. Love watching them concede after blasting their weapon.
