We need the ability to report DUO teammates for idling

Every 8 games or so 1 person is just idling if he does not like how you play and sell his minions, even when the game is not even close to loosing.

We can see opponent tags, but not teamate tag.

We should be able to report players who sell their minions in a game that isn’t lost yet. On last turn if you 300% behind fine, but not in turn 6.

  1. Maybe they are angry because you play like its normal battlegrounds and ignore the fact that you have a teammate, never look at their board, never pass minions that help out the team even if not you personally.
  2. Even if the above is not true, Blizzard added a penalty to quitting. Rating is silly and pointless, but some people care. I personally will instantly quit even with the penalty if my ‘teammate’ pretends I am not there, but again, not everyone will. They expect you to quit instead.

I’ve never had this happen in over 100 BGs in DUOs so far. I’ve had maybe 5 total partners leave.

Are you saying they just idle and do NOTHING and purposefully lose? Seems like your partner is mad at how you’re playing perhaps.

why are all the rage quitting players cho players who are mad you didnt give them a tier 2 minion for their tier 1 triple at turn 300?

The penalty does not work, they are still in the game, selling minions and not doing anything for several turns.

Yes they didn’t like the way I was playing, but I was playing and trying to win.

I don’t quit the moment my teammate makes a misplay, let alone sell all my minions in the middle of the game, which I see way too often. They not afk, you can still see them seat until the end of the game, taking damage for 5 turns.

That is the thing, some people stop playing because they think they know better, Cho players that want to make early triple is a good example. One Cho got mad at me cuz he wanted a tier 1/2 triple instead of upgrading.

I mean you kind of sign up for something like this in a co-op type game, especially where there’s minimal communication (which I do see works better than I initially thought btw). I’m not saying it’s right to sell everything and leave or even buying the T1 demon and leaving it on the board slowly destroying your HP, but there are going to be times where you team up with someone who disagrees with your plays or vice versa or both.

Now, if it was the same person over and over THEN I’d say having the ability to report may be good.

No, it is because they are queing as a three group with some crap account and just idling so they dont lose 80 rating a game if they lose. Instead of the jerk that is doing it just quiting so people dont lose rating(same effect for them).

Can a player already be banned for intentionally lowering not only his own, but also my rating, or not yet? The “FrostString” player did nothing for 7 or 8 moves, just watched us lose

It’s on you for playing team games without knowing the people personally. It never ends well when the difficulty rises. It’s all fun and games when the difficulty is low; you WILL be griefed when push comes to shove and people’s main purpose is to win; I’ve been seeing the same story all over the internet (not a Hearthstone-only thing at all).

I want to report my teammates for being paste eaters as much as the next guy but guess who runs team 5?

you guessed it - glue connoisseurs
