Maybe due to last time being able to complete in a day? 
Who knows?
On a personal level, I’m usually done these quest tracks within about a week or less so there’s always plenty of time to finish.
Most of the time, we will get that notification signal that the event is about to expire, and I’ve forgotten we even had it!
