What other mode would you want to 1v2 on? I think being able to que with an odd number of people is a reasonable request and very valid idea.

Point is you’ve never been able to queue w/ more than 1 person besides 1v1.
And queuing with more than 2 person in the new mode, you could feed rating super easily

The game pace and RNG is such that even at 4 on a que, you couldn’t feed the rating that easily that it would make such a huge difference. Besides, the ratings right now really don’t mean anything except bragging rights.

The salient point is that this mode is a great opportunity for friends to play and duke it out. Like 2HG in MTG. It could even be done outside of any “ratings.”

That easily? Queue with 5 friends. 4 concede immediately. Bam, + rating

Outside of ratings? They haven’t even taken this mode out of beta yet.

Currently you play va people at your raiting. If you que with friends tosses that of as your unlikly have the same raiting. As such if using the lower persons raiting there getting a good match but the upper player is going to have a easy time. Sure it’s a minor thing but it is something to consider. Thou using lower rating should be fine as if people win vs him just give them more raiting and take less away from a loss.

There really should be a way to just play 1v1v1 no raitings just for fun with your friends at least.

Mode is in beta thou so I’m sure at some point we will be able to play with friends.

Well 1) Reported for abusive language.
2) Ranked/Unranked are 2 entirely different modes. Both have different mechanics behind them. You want an entirely different mode. You know how long super simple things take them (alternate heroes, new card types, etc.)

Deactivating the raiting would be a bad way to go about it. Unfair to the other players that waste a game since your playing with friends. While if they still got and you dint your screwing up the accuracy of there raiting by pairing with people that has less reason to care so long as they are in the same pool as others raiting should remain to all players present.

I am so happy that you both are no game developer.

Right on. This is a good thing

Id be up for group queuing only if points arent allowed for people in group. Otherwise its very easy to exploit. Game is free to play.

What about ungrouped ppl who come 8th against a group of 5? Would they lose rating, or only gain rating on a top 4 finish? To me they would have to both lose and gain rating based on result, otherwise they would have “immunity” from bad performance in a similar scenario.

There is no perfect solution to exploiting the system, but group queuing should be a thing (sounds like it will be soon™), just a matter of how its done that remains unanswered.

The point system means very little atm. But the general assumption would be, no points system for casual play in groups.

Are you forgetting it’s in beta?

Try having some patience instead of displaying a toxic attitude.
