As the title said, I tried using from the depths to dredge my Odin out. Clicked on odin, also shown on the sidebar that the card selected from “from the depths” is odin, turns out the next turn I drew a reduced cost “prison of Yogg-saron”.
Dredge is “countered” if your deck was shuffled by your opponent during his turn. Did you play against a death knight and plagues were shuffled into your deck? That would be one of the possibilities.

You or your opponent played some card or effect that shuffled your deck.
And yes, shuffling a card INTO the deck does shuffle the WHOLE deck.

Should this be fixed or is it intended? shuffling a card into your deck and causing the entire deck to be reshuffled doesn’t sound right, especially after playing order in the court or dredging.
And yes indeed, I was facing a dk that shuffled plagues into my deck.
This is intended. Shuffling a card into the deck shuffles the entire deck.

Think of it like how Joachim brought it up: shuffling is a “counter” to your dredge and deck manipulation effects.

It takes 1 mana to ruin the entire setup, Lorekeeper, order in the court… I do think it should be changed, definitely cannot re-order decks, perhaps there should be reshuffle deck options or simply having some tec cards that ruin the effect of the top-decked card. It already ruins the reno effect.
