So now Warrior is the deck everyone is going to overplay? This is why you warrior shills dont get nice things. Because you abuse it until it gets nerfed again than cry about it being trash. Try some restraint and self control. Then maybe you can have a nice deck to play for a little while longer.
The game will never be balanced, stop thinking it can be
Eh, there have been plenty of times even recently where things were pretty balanced. Play rates of decks never will be though, and that’s what makes it a larger driver of nerfs as there’s plenty of stuff that feels really bad to lose to, even if it isn’t statistically super out of line.
Pssst. Warrior was good before the patch. The patch just targeted the exact cards it needed to be easier to pilot.
Wow hot news:
People switch to the new buffed thing when something gets nerfed. Newsflash.
That’s such a dumb thing to say. They could do a lot more and do a much better job balancing it than just knee-jerk buffing mid cards because people on forums and social media are whining.
Kinda glad Odyn warrior has higher WR than any warlock deck. Less chances to see a warlock nerf.
This is true, that’s why everyone brought a warrior deck at the masters 2 weeks ago… Oh wait, no one did
Limited format events NEVER show you the complete picture of the meta. Those lineups were chosen because they were three safe picks and one jank of your choice. The control warrior had just started rising about 6 days before the event and nobody was willing to gamble on it when there were better jank picks.
Every class deserves nice things. I find Warrior decks kind of boring so I don’t play it much.
But I don’t talk down to them when Warrior has the spotlight either.
Except for Dead Man’s Hand Warrior. Omg, that deck is…something else, man.
My favorite to face was Boomsday Warrior. I lethaled my own face a few times, haha. It was funny when it happened but it felt good to beat them too.
No, it wasn’t. The buffs were pretty huge. Some decks get really hurt when they get just one card nerfed, warrior got 3 auto-include cards buffed.
Most of those players played broken Shaman decks before… now it has been nerfed… they changed to something else which is OP… because thats how the game works and the player base… fun doesn’t matter anymore… just win with the most broken decks… win at all costs until the forum will be full of complaints.
You heard it here first folks, if you play warrior now then you used to be a shaman player. Lmao i cant with this troll man…
Seems like the most fair deck in Standard right now, and i haven’t even played it so i have no bias.
Have even won against it, with off-meta decks. It’s not THAT good of a deck to complain for, you probably just had one unlucky game against it and decided to complain.
I RATHER STOP THINKING!!!
There were half a dozen players playing Control Warrior in top 100 before the Masters event and they had a 56% win rate or higher. So yes it was a known deck but not enough play time yet to have a good grasp on it. The changes that were made were the exact changes to speed the deck up and make it easier to play.
The casual player has nothing to do with the top 100 players. I’d be surprised if any of the active forum members is among top 1000.
You would be surprised how many of us have been in top 1K. When i played the game more seriously i regularly played in top 500. It’s not some surprisingly hard thing to do. The trick is to stay in the top of those ranks till the end of the month. It takes a hell of a lot of daily grinding to retain your rank.
And even if we aren’t talking about top 1k, top 2k is there as well. I’m there since I can’t pierce the 1k barrier as a f2p player (unable to adapt to changing meta by deck changing).
Here in 2k land, there are plenty of control warriors. Pretty hard to beat as a Mech Rogue player. They have good removal options, which is all it really takes to beat us.
Considering there’s normally about 10-15K legend players by the end of a month retaining 2K rank at the end is just as impressive.
