I swear if they donot nerf warrior and mages, I’m done with this game. 70% of my matchups in rank 5 and up have been mages or warriors and I’m done wasting 30 mins on one game.
How would you nerf them?
warrior - remove discover mech and rush from dr boom will be good.
mage- discounted cost of giants to be take rather than actual count for callings i.e. if giants cost when they were summoned then, they give 2 4 drops not 12 drops.
They seem to be in a habbit of doing balance updates regulary these days, so lets wait and see what they have in store for us. I think it would be for the good of the game though if Warrior and Mage get toned down a bit, though saying that, Highlander Hunter is really good against Mage right now so that’s been fun lately for me lol The Warrior matchup is pretty good aswell depending on draws.
Complains about Warrior & Mage…
…Forgets quest paladin exists…
What does Quest Paladin have to do with nerfing Warrior and Mage?
There’s a misconception that Quest Paladin is broken just because it can deal with slower or unrefined decks. It’s completely garbage vs any aggro-tempo deck or rly any class able to tech against it though lol…
quest pally at best is tier 2 which I think is fair.
Why nerf? When I am struggling to get past R18? Change your game style… all i play is my fire mage its cool? Why quit the game just stay low stay newb keep firing dont need to put control over Blizzard they seem to be corrupt anyway its USA what do you expect a bunch of italian mobsters its all there is it???
Not smart. Rush is now used extensively in Warrior, and making Dr. Boom not giving Mechs Rush or Discovering removal options is a bad idea. Keep in mind that Dr. Boom is nowhere near as powerful in Wild, where the Mech pool is more diluted.
That can’t be done. Mountain Giant will only ever be a 12 mana minion when it’s on the board - Mana penalties/deductions aren’t counted after a minion hits the board. A mana nerf to Conjurer’s Calling is more feasible than making the Giants adhere to mana costs. I don’t want bull**** like Giantslock infecting the game anymore. Keep in mind that this may have the opposite effect of what you want - you might have some freak occurrence of Mountain Giants coming off of 3-4 Mana drops because of this proposed change. For the proposed effect to work as you want it to work, it would mean that Mountain Giant’s Mana cost has to constantly fluctuate based on the amount of cards you have in hand - while Mountain Giant itself is on the board. Also, this change would also affect Grave Horror, as that card’s cost would decrease based on how many spells you played during the game - while Grave Terror itself is on the board… Your proposed fix could accidentally make it more degenerate and have players teching in Wisps.
Trust me, a Mana nerf to Conjurer’s Calling is much simpler.
by how muuch?? 1 mana more is joke of a nerf. conjurer’s calling is mana cheating. A druid mechanic not mage.
this would neuter the card and that’s unnecessary.
reasonable
Boom, Luna’s, Divine Spirit, Zul’jin to HoF. Maybe Hagatha for consistency. Let’s shake this meta up.
Or bring Genn and Baku back, so all classes have access to gamebreaking Hero Powers.
While I like this in theory, would some quests then be OP as a result?
Quest Paladin loses to Mage.
bye bye Rjn, no one will miss you.
If you’re nerfing Boom with just a flat nerf then you need to nerf Zuljin as well. Zuljin should never be able to cast dire frenzy and limit how many then. Draw Boom as your last card and draw Zuljin as your last card and tell me who is more likely to lose if the warrior hasn’t lost already.
Genn and Baku can come back, but make them not a guaranteed activate from turn 1. That was what was bs about them. Justicar was balanced because you have to draw AND play her. Acting like even and odd were restrictive is laughable.
Hero cards to Hof, cc on your minions targets what you paid not the card cost
I haven’t played rank in a week but if there are still a ton of warriors I might as well go and get my free wins with my anti-warrior warrior vargoth deck.
