Plot twist removes mana cost buffs from cards in your hand when shuffling them into the deck. If a card has a -2 mana or 0 mana cost, when playing plot twist, it changes back to the original card cost. Should be an easy fix.
There is a “natural flow” of cards through the game:
Deck > Hand > Board > Graveyard
Whenever cards travel along the natural flow, buffs and cost reductions are retained. If a buffed minion is summoned from your deck to the board, it will keep any buffs.
Going against the natural flow always removes buffs and mana cost changes unless explicitly stated. If a Rogue shadowsteps a buffed minion, it loses the buffs. When you shuffle minions into your deck, any cost changes or buffs are reset.
Cards will only retain changes against the flow when that effect is explicitly printed on the card (Dire Frenzy for instance.)
