Warlock Card Draw

With cards that add “cast when drawn” to your deck why do you get to draw *another card? That power doesn’t specify to ALSO draw another card. It should take your DRAW phase, no? Newer to ranked play, just an observation on the wording and found it confusing that with , “cast when drawn” abilities warlocks can draw 5 cards + in a row. That wording needs fixed if that is working as intended.

It’s definitely working as intended, although it might be misworded. I like it because it allows for interesting events like Garrote Rogue, Bomb Warrior, etc.

Another area where this seems counterintuitive is drawing soul fragments adds to the DH Quest. Another instance is where warlock’s Mithril Rod gains charges if drawing a soul fragments and tokens.

Yeah its definitely a late game play, but that surely needs reworded. Thanks for the reply.

cast when darwn is a keyword
the keyword includes card draw
it used to be
“< Spell effect >. Draw a card. Cast this when drawn.”
they made it a keyword to reduce card text

Keywords not mean what they say literally.

What even is an echo supposed to be if not “repeatable this turn”?

Same for cast when draw.

Cast when draw is a contraction for:
When you this cast It and draw another card after you do.

Nothing wrong there.
