I got Frost Lich Cross-Stitch from Sweetened Snowflurry, it summoned a water elemental which froze the enemy’s Walking Mountain but he still attacked and killed me on his turn. It was me ChineseMafia #1551 against BB7K7K #3555. I don’t want an arena refund, I just wanted to let you guys know that it was dumb as hell.
Frozen minions lose their next attack.
Walking Mountain has mega-windfury, so it has four attacks.
It lost one of those, and had three remaining.
I don’t believe this is a bug.
Freeze works like this :
When you end your turn, if a character is frozen, but would have been able to attack if it wasn’t frozen, then it unfreezes
-Summon a minion turn 1. Your opponent freezes it on turn 2. On turn 3 (your second turn) the minion is frozen. If it was not frozen, it could have attacked, so at the end of your turn, it unfreezes.
-Summon a minion with charge and freeze it yourself before it attacks. If the minion was not frozen, it could have attacked, so it unfreezes at the end of your turn, the same turn it has been summoned and frozen.
-Summon a minion with windfury on turn 1. Turn 2 nothing. Turn 3 you attack a water elemental. Your minion is now frozen, but it had a remaining attack thanks to windfury. Since your minion could have attacked if it was not frozen, it will unfreeze at the end of your turn. This should be your case.
How, exactly, did the water elemental freeze the mountain?
Did the elemental attack the mountain on the same turn when it was summoned? If so, how? did the elemental have rush?
Did you somehow force the mountain to attack the elemental? Again, if so, how?
Woops sorry yeah it was the turn after, my water elemental attacked the mountain
