I just lost a game to someone intentionally doing this to win (isn’t this bannable? I reported them because I don’t think using a bug to win on purpose is fair).
If you use the 6 mana DK legendary to summon Wakener of Souls, it bugs and keeps ressurecting itself, making it impossible to kill unless silenced or removed. This was very frustrating to face and especially if it is done knowingly.
I can’t find the quote back but their take is that you are allowed to use bugs in your games because you are free to use the game as it is presented to you. If they don’t want you to, they have the technollogy to instantly bann a card from being played.
From precedents, what’s bannable is when said bug or abuse totally prevents your opponent from playing and that you publicly share it
Doesn’t seem obvious to me. If you see a niche bugged interaction that creates a loophole (due to a bug, I insist) thanks to which you win the game on the spot; and you go and create a deck specifically made to cause and abuse this bug, that’s called exploiting in gaming and in most competitive games it’s a very common reason for banning.
In the least, you are scum if that’s how you play the game (don’t mean you, I mean the person doing this).
