Each year, I look forward to getting quests done on 9 different HS collections while playing the holiday brawls.
I lazily reprised my Shaman deck list for this Brawl from 2023 and I won 12 out of 15 games before I started to make changes to the deck. My win rate remained around 80 percent for around 135 matches, but it’s slowly going down today as I encounter more experienced players with refined decks, but my win rate is still incredibly high.
I am not going to share my deck list, because I am constantly changing it as I try new things to adapt to the evolving meta. I changed about 8 cards today, so the updated deck list is a new experiment, but the core of the deck remains the same with 2x Mogu Fleshshaper, 2x Sea Giant, and a lot of transmutation cards. Sea Giants are also an excellent minion for this brawl.
My approach to playing the deck is to hard mulligan for Mogu Fleshshaper and Evolve, which often secures a win if the opponent fails to get a good or better start.

I have played this Brawl against all classes, and I have even taken losses to classes that I did not expect to lose to. The most common classes that I encounter are Druid, Priest, and and Shaman.
Druids are mostly taking a Token Druid approach by buffing the 4 free gift minions while trying to create a wide board.

Priest decks vary, but many take a similar approach to Druid by using Purifying Power to silence and buff the gifts. Sometimes they make use of Divine Spirit + Inner Fire combos, while others may rely more on using cards to copy cards from the opponent’s hand or deck.

To combat Druid, Priest, and Handbuff Pally strategies, I have added 2x Devolve and 2x Primordial Wave to my deck. I am about to try 2x Jam Session to help combat weak token minions or early evolved minions in a mirror match.
Anyways, I am still having a lot of fun with experimenting my brawl deck even after having played over hundred matches, and I am hoping to have even more fun with the original holiday brawl, if the devs remember to also include that brawl this month.
