I really cant stand these decks. Your almost rendered useless. Anyone find a good strategy against them without creating a freaking stupid a… volatile skele deck?

I was mostly winning against them with a big deathrattle demon Hunter but I think it’s the overplayed aspect that makes this mage deck unfun.
That can be said about just about every popular mage deck. Polymorphs can go a long way against them, as can getting lucky with Mutanus and Theo and stealing their win cons. Just another obnoxious deck that we have to deal with so get used to seeing them.
The silence minion is your friend in this match, unfreeze your board and remove the damage from his skeletons.
It’s tier 3 my dude. Mostly everyone so at least moderately successful against it.

Nah, its T2. Mid-Low T2, but T2.
Its only T3 if you limit yourself to last 24 hours of data, which isn’t a good metric to use. Last 3 days is best of the HSR options IMO. It allows for meta swings to normalise a bit.

I joined the dark side and have been playing an XL Necromancer mage because I found this deck so annoying to play against (I was playing paladin when Nathria launched.)
It does well, although definitely weaker against Ramp Druid and Face Hunter – which there are a lot of. It is good against Big Spell mages, Beast Master hunters, Deathrattle Rogues, Paladins, Warriors, Quest Priests and Demon Hunters. Shaman can be tricky, especially Evolve.
People have hit high legend with skelly mage so it is a very decent deck. I recommend the XL version with Solid Alibi.

Does anyone find this play style fun to play? It certainly isn’t fun to play against. This goes for most the decks this meta.
Forget engaging board play, that’s long gone. They’re failing on what should be the primary question of any game… is this a fun experience?
