I think we need more hunters in the meta. I haven’t seen many of them in a while. Hopefully they get a lot of strong cards in April. Their current card pool is pretty weak.

Do not forget about rogues. They could use some help too

RIP Shaman @ the 3.5% meta representation mark :sob:.

Imagine the class you love having 4 viable decks that are vastly different from one another.

What a time to be a spoiled Hunter main.

Some classes will likely never experience such privilege.

@Bowser (if the mods havent suspended your access already :face_with_hand_over_mouth:)

Don’t get baited by Puzzle Box. Prayers to Yogg are usually not answered.

since you insisted, i had to.

Well that’s what happens when you take a deck and give it 5 nerfs. 6 nerfs? However many nerfs.

Maybe all the shaman complaints and nerfs were too quick.

When the rest of the classes even have that.

I mean, Priest and Paladin have both been below 2% in the past. 3.5% doesn’t seem that awful for the bottom class, actually.

Only 25k contributors. Everyone went to BGs!

Welcome to smorc meta

welcome in shaman meta…“unbeatable” - “uncontrolable”…nerf!!! then nerf!! and more nerf!! …go enjoy whit now! thx all

so… those people who say bad guys got galak and will dominate. Whats happening to the bad guys now? LOL

galakrond rogue and warrior are the two best decks mentioned by VS so doing well?

3/5 worst class are bad classes, and half of rogue rely more on the good guy package than the bad guy package ironically.

Initially, absolutely not. Shaman had a 65% + win rate before the first nerf and it remained super strong after the first nerf.

Shaman has some strong options, and it would still be quite competitive if the rest of the meta didn’t have such insane power creep. It still has tier 1 potential, it’s just that the deck that handed out easy wins is gone and therefore, people moved on to the next FotM; priest and hunter.

The class was nerfed into oblivion. That should be pretty obvious. Who knew 7 nerfs was overkill? Did they really give enough time after the first set of nerfs?

Shaman won’t be truly nerfed til Shudderwock gets Hof’d.

Thank you.
If it were not for the nature of competitive CCGs, people would take more time to experiment.
Shaman needed those nerfs.
But it was not just Shaman as a Galakrond-class causing all the trouble on its own.
The meta repeats itself, over and over.
It’s almost the same we had a year ago (probably two years ago actually; time passes so damn quickly). A select few at the very top, with overtuned archetypes capable of dipping into several playstyles, while others are at the bottom.

Not every class can be guaranteed to be relevant. Duh.
But this is a product of terrible foresight. And it is not difficult to tell.
