No, he can’t reroll that quest… but it is easy because a lot of player use Jade Golems now in Twist… for the same reason I am sure… I am not even care about Twist just created a deck from basic cards and still managed to do it.
It’s a Twist Quest on an event focused on Twist that give rewards for twist.
While i understand and think the complaint is valid.
I would like to point that you gonna get that quest done easy if you play twist and that there is no point in even participating this event if you don’t want to play the format.
Jade rogue is a very popular deck there. So you have where to find jade golems to destroy.
Thanks for the replies all. I spread my time among a lot of Hearthstone/Blizz games so I didn’t spend much time on Twist today. Played one, no golems. I know I had seen them before though, just wasn’t sure where .
Spent some time in WoW this morning due to the DM Faire being there only this week; got done what I wanted to though so more time free for the Twist event!
Rogue, Shaman and Druid… these are the classes which are using Jade Golems if I am not mistaken. Play only against these, and concede the rest to make it completed.
That is not completetly true… I don’t care about Twist either because it seems like a meaning less money waiste… (The rules and sets may change each month… right?) but still free packs can give free dust… thats why it is worth it to participate. I play only with basic cards too in this mode because don’t want to invest anything in it… but still want to get free packs. And having some fun with cards I didn’t use for a long time… Even tried my Legendary Gelbin Mekkatorque (got it in beta phase so it was a long time ago)… but it was too slow of course for the meta… still try to use it for fun.
That one seems not so hard for me either, just create a defensive deck which can survive until you use an old god. Use the free one from example and play as normal until you can draw it out or your enemy use one. Don’t stress on using an old god at all costs… don’t add all of them into your deck because it makes it even harder to play one in time. Adding some extra card draws can be also a good idea. Good luck. (I am using basic cards too… not investing any money into this mode, and still can do the quests.)
Well not when they just roll over you with aggro or decks that’s not c’thun, so you can’t finish quest of theirs.
took me at least 10 games to finish, only time I got cthun off was when I had him in hand from start… just kept getting smorced by rogues and shamans… and occasional druids.
I don’t like to complain, but I found it a little disappointing when the event quest this morning was summon or destroy 30 jade golems.
There are only 3 classes in twist. They are Rogue, Warlock, and Warrior. Jade rogue makes up approximately 55% of all opponents in diamond and increases to nearly 60% play rate at legend. Warlock makes up another 30% and the remaining 5% or so is warrior. The remaining classes comprise less than 5% of the meta and are not relevant in the slightest.
I don’t see how destroying 30 jade golems should be a problem when it’s pretty normal to face 5 or 6 jade rogue opponents in a row.
I won’t dispute your experiences at competitive ranks, but if, like me, you just made janky to complete quests like the whole deck was one cost minions or random battlecry or all the holy spells you can cram in… then you’re playing bad decks and you won’t see any golems until you actually win some games to get matched up to people trying to actually play the game.
