Upcoming patch?

Is there a specified date for the new patch and are there nerfs coming for the warriors, please?

I am tired of playing against this class, you should set an armor limit.
There is no counterplay to that.

They have the tools to win the late game with kazakusan, early game you cannot burst them because of the cheap armor they can build and because of not cap ( you could at least make this card to be more dedicated on dragons, it’s too strong and not fair to be placed in every card build), for example, to build a naga deck you should commit more than 4 naga cards in order for it to work.
It is not fair to be allowed to play 4 dragon cards and build a deck with OP cards ( not to mention that it’s not necessary to be 4 dragons since Amalgam is available ).

It’s really hard to win against control warrior early game before he builds armor, they have so much wave clear for free and they win the late game with just built armor and a dragon card.

It is frustrating playing against the same class when you reach a bit higher ranks and almost nothing works against it.

i’ve beaten many warriors as rogue, if you know they playing a certain deck type should try to play around it like dragon, sometimes steal or stop a dragon they insta surrender if they dont have enough to activate Kaz. and in top decks its not even dragon warrior dominating, its charge warrior

AHAHAHAH LMAO ROFL HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Um… wouldn’t MOAR DAMAGES be the counterplay?

Or Quest Priest. I’ve been feasting on Control Warriors. Although I just lost to one who ate my Xyrella, the Sanctified with a Brann → Mutanus . I even made sure to have 4 minions in my hand to block. And the turn before, my Mutanus hit a 2/3 Pirate. Ouch. But I can’t complain too much – I won a Quest Priest mirror this morning by Mutanusing my opponent’s Xrella, so… karma I guess.

Quest priests might work against control warriors but do have a lot more counters than the warrior, at least in my opinion.

Naga mage.

Simple to use and eficient in many matchups.

That creates a question to the other topic I’ve mentioned, how many nagas are you using for the naga mage deck, more than 4 isn’t that correct?

AT FIRST kick all the charge BS from the game = more healthy no Neile LAME swing

No news on a patch this week. Based on the recent past, we can probably expect a patch next week.

The issue is that the Top Legend meta is overrun with Rogue and DH, both of which hard counter a lot of decks that destroy Warrior.

Naga Priest and Handbuff Paladin are the best choices if you are playing there.

Mech Paladin is also fantastic against it, but it falls off at Top Legend because of all the Rogues and DHs.

That’s what you can do before the patch hits.

I am tired of playing against pala, rogue, dh and warrior. Maybee i am just tired…

The difference in my opinion is that warrior is winning games that he is not supposed to win.
It’s not fair to be with 8 health and in the next round, the warrior got 8 health and more than 40 armor on top of the health.

Paladins can’t heal more than 30 and " Rustrot Viper " counter their sustain.
Rogue is strong but bearable as they need a bit of luck for the right cards.
Demon hunters are also strong but still not frustrating, at least if they got the right cards you will lose at the beginning, not after a 20-minute game.

As for the warrior you cannot stop their armor stack, it is hard to destroy them early in-game and if you don’t do it you are playing a 20-minute game to lose in the end because you simply can’t do anything.
They just have too many tools for clearing the board and stacking armor at the same time for no cost.

That’s not true.
There are 2 versions of warrior right now: 1 is more tempo-based, second has Kazakusan. First is much more likely to lose in the greedy control-based matchup, like priests, handbuff paladins, burn warlocks, and second loses to high-tempo decks(first is played 4 times more, than the second one)
The rogue matchup is a straight-up casino.

For clears, the warrior has 2 shield shatters, rancors(which are not used at all rn since Barov got rotated), and brawls-4 in total. You can easily play around clears if you have ANY experience with tempo/zoo/token decks, especially since only brawl is really playing against divine shields.

Right now there are only decks that can burst you from 30-handbuff Paladin and curse Warlock(with like 6 curses starting from ~4 dmg, which is unlikely).

Also, Paladin has ~48 healing from maki rolls and a flash of light, which is not much less than Warrior.

Also right now the paladin is sitting on a 59% win rate for the mech version, 56% for the holy version, and 59.5% for the hand buff, while the top Control warrior deck has 56%(Quest version still got an absurd 59.8%-Nellie should be nerfed, Mr. Smite should be deleted from the Juggernaut summoning pool).

In general, right now there are much more problematic decks than Control Warrior right now.

Patch announced for tomorrow, expecting some nerfs to warrior and paladin at least.

I disagree with that.
There might be other strong decks but warriors are literally destroying the gameplay.

I just had a game and I swear my opponent ( warrior of course) tanked more than 100 damage to the face and end up the game-winning with 20 armor and 10 hp.
That’s the health for like 4 games.

auto, you obviously aren’t a golfer. “No counterplay” is scrubese for “it’s never my fault when I lose.”

Feedback like yours is why things take longer to be fixed or cared about. Did you not take a second to view the top decks?

Even if it’s not RNG rogue Pirate Rogue can sometimes out pirate charge the warrior. js

Buckler 10 x 2 = 20 (4 mana)
Heavy Plate 8 x 2 = 16 (6 mana)
Shield Block 5 x 2 = 10 (6 mana)
Rokara 10 (7 mana)
Tidal Revenant 8 x 2 = 16 (16 mana)

So, just to be completely clear, you’re having issues with 72 armor gain overall that costs 33 mana, which is a bit more than 1 mana for 2 armor.
Which deck are you playing that you can’t outtempo this?

there is also Bran plays getting armor cards x2 from the 4 mana Naga for 1 mana use whenever. (doesn’t happen all the time but also not hard to pull off) gets easier if they are hit by depths discount.

Yep, and From the Depths is problematic for sure. I’d tune it to at least 2 mana discount, if not straight up delete, since mana cheats are not healthy for the game at all.

they should make it a legendary Spell so you can only have 1  with a nerfed effect
