Also it needs to be released before the year rotation to count as year of the dragon cards.
No the prologue should unlock him and the 30 cards that came with it. It even literally says on the intro banner unlock all new demon hunter class and more. Whats the point of unlocking it if they arent going to allow us to use him…

It’s part of the slow roll out of the expansion. Same reason they piece-meal out the single player when it’s obviously done. Or waiting to make changes to Battlegrounds until there’s a week of nothing really happening.
To try and make sure there’s something new every week or two. Even if it’s just a minor taste (i.e. the Prologue)
It’s the way of the live service.

As mentioned, he’s not playable until the 7th.
But yeah, it’s pretty horribly handled: no mention whatsoever, just “here you go, Demon Hunter! Now go ahead and find out it’s unplayable and be completely confused if you hadn’t read about this outside the game”.

You can play the demonhunter deck in some solo of the adventures.

Ive already tried him out, he’s very fun. I was hoping I could make some decks with him but i guess thatl have to wait. From what ive played of him he seems far more technical than other aggro. Demon hunter will clearly seperate the noobs from the pros for sure.

Blizzard hates us all. This is an abusive relationship. We give them time and money and they torture us with 5 days of staring at a new hero but not playing it. This is hot smelly garbage. I predicted the hero to come with the new set on the 7th but then I was excited to try him out after Prologue. Then i was met with a Randy Orton body slam. Thanks Blizz for getting me addicted to your game and then slamming my facing into the fridge everything 4 months.

I know this isn’t a good argument especially with the streamers getting over a week of theorycrafting, but they STATED that the prologue would be April 2nd and the expansion on April 7th.
But as Zerfinity said, people that didn’t read up on this would be confused. I don’t understand why they couldn’t just release it now.

Did the prologue, waited for the 7th legged in to find all of my decks destroyed if you want to play ranked. Played a few games still cant make a Demon Hunter Deck Like WOW Blizzard has screwed its loyal fan base by messing with a good thing. All respect lost for Blizzard, game deleted.
I can’t use the demon hunter class at all. I completed the prologue, bit each time I try to enter matchmaking with demon hunter, the game show me an error. This is ridicolous and very very upsetting
I also did the prolog and got the notification that my demon hunter was unlocked and that I had the cards unlocked. I wanted to play him but he’s not in my list of heroes. I can see the unlocked cards but can’t even make a deck. It should have been released as of yesterday. What am I missing?
I was having the same problem but after hours of racking my brain i noticed that i had all my deck slots filled up. So i went in and deleted a basic deck. Then it freed up a slot to create new deck and then i finally found the demon hunter. hope this helps you out.
