Underground Arena rewards now give gold consistently

I played 2 Underground Arenas, went 4-3 both, and both I got 2 packs + 105 g

So, gold is back!

How did this fly under this forum’s radar???

Probably because the mode is still terrible.

The pool of cards is ridiculous and the starting legendary pool is utterly lopsided. That’s the good part. The worst part is how infested underground is by Barcode decks.

Probably because people are to busy crying for nerfs or trolling each other(yeah, you know who you are, I just don’t care)

You always got gold at 2,3 and 4 wins. At 5 and 6 you get 1 ticket instead of gold, 7-12 you get 2 tickets and at 6+ you get the chance for jackpot. The issue is the jackpot is still inconsistent, and you don’t get incremental gold packs anymore so if you aren’t going 7+ and winning back a rebuy you aren’t progressing toward paying for your next Arena run. All they accomplished is their goal of shrinkflating Arena value for arena players.

Well, I didn’t, so it had to be a change between then and now

Pretty sure I wouldn’t be posting what I’ve been posting if I knew I can cover the run by going 4-3

At the very least, after 1 night of playing, net result was 15 packs for 900 gold, and I call that worth

It must have been bugged then because on the Announcement 2-4 wins should have always giving gold. Unless you mean 5 win baby Arena that never gave out gold.

Yeah, no, that’s still the same as I remember it from first day

I could have sworn both not getting any gold before, and not seeing any gold in the rewards (just the % increases of probability for getting the 2k), but I guess I was just blind

It clearly shows the gold as you said

I used to get 3 packs for 0-80 gold a day (playing 2.5-3 hours), before the revamp.
And the most important thing is, you don’t always have 900 gold to spare. Save up for more than a week to get 5 hours of arena play and 15 packs. I can’t say it’s worth it.
I don’t know if that’s true, but you’ll see a lot less arena playtime onward.

Idk

Should be that way by all means, except, ironically, I play more now than I did before the rework xD

I think they successfully made it addicting and fun and that could help sell some tickets

Nothing in my approach to arena changes with this rework. Ever since I realized I’ll never go permanent arena, I play it when I stack up some gold instead of buying the packs, because it’s very likely I’ll get them at some sort of a discount

But the discipline it takes to stop playing if you still have the gold is unreal. I decided to be satisfied with 15 packs for 900 gold, even though I still had 500+ left, thinking I should save that for the expansion, and I will

But I almost just started another run, twice
