When battle round stated, my teammate went first. The enemy opponent had a Bellowing Tyrant that had reborn. He killed most of their board, but he didn’t end up killing the Tyrant because he was so big, which is fine.
Then it swapped to me, I had an Upper Hand spell that triggered on the Tyrant which reduced it to 1, than the health changed to 20 or something like that, but as soon as my minion went to attack it… the health went back to over 200 as though it had never taken any damage from my teammate, and because it never died, it still had the reborn on it.
The Tyrant has an aura that buffs its health
Whenever you set the stats of a minion affected by an aura, the aura will re-apply on top of the set stats
Which means it’s normal that it did not stay at 1
We don’t have the context of what turn this happened during your game, but if they had a turn 7 minion in play we can reasonnably imagine that they summoned more than 10 beasts during their game, which is backed up by the fact that you said “as though it had never taken any damage from my teammate” and not “it went up to even more health than against my teammate”, indicating that it was effectively brought back up to full life from the aura re-applying.
which could mean that the only actual bug you encountered was a visual one where the tyrant didn’t properly display its full health buff when the aura re-applied and got updated to the actually correct value when you attacked it
But that bug did not cause any in-game difference
The issue isn’t that it didn’t stay at 1, I didn’t expect it to stay at 1 health from the spell, what I didn’t expect is that it went back to full health. It essentially ended up healing itself from all the dmg it took from my partner.
Which is what I’ve already explained in my post.
So what amount of health did you expect it to go back to ?
If it was a 300/200 against your teammate, it could have been from its aura giving it +300/+200
After you set it to 1 health, which sets its max health to 1, the aura regives it +200 health
And since increasing max health also grants health, it goes back to full health
As we can expect from a Tyrant in a game where your opponent would have had summoned a hundred beasts either by playing them or summoning them during fights
As I’ve already explained too in my post, your report is lacking context to what turn this happened and how big the tyrant was at first and why
what part of aura effects do you not understand?
