There’s Warlock that does that with HP though.
That wasnt until the Ungoro/KFT metas. In meme streets it was a popular but mediocre deck.
Ah, ok. Actually I have another question: why is shaman not played much? I think its cards has the potential, overload + jade + aoe.
From memory, Shaman wasnt too popular in MSoG either. Aggro Jade, with a small pirate package, was quite strong but didnt see much play.
Crusher (AKA: Big) Shaman probably has the most potential in Twist. Not Jade/Overload, IMO.
It was late to arrive on the scene in the era (was also the first deck I played in MSoG) only becoming somewhat popular in the last month or so before Un’Goro.
Will definitely have to build a new Crusher Shammy list for Twist. Loved that deck back in the day.

I’m thinking that it’s probably because of the nature of Twist, so people won’t spend dust for cards that are not strong enough in wild.
The new rogue legendary is an okay craft for wild (at least it got that special effect).
As for shaman, I’d really like to experiment with it, but the thought of that dust going to the dumpster next month keeps me from doing that.
I like it, however twist is so expensive to play like for real so much dust for old cards.
And I really dislike the rogue cards introduced with caverns of time they are really solid especially jade telegram is so unfun to play against.

So what decks are strong against Jade C’thun Rogue?
I just get farmed by the 6 mana Blade of C’thun now.
Jade C’thun Rogue and Odyn Warrior in Standard both received like >20/30 card slot buffs over time and feel completely stupid to play against. ???
Odyn Warrior isnt that bad to play against, but the number of buffs is still stupid.
Despite being pretty imbalanced right now, Twist is very fun. Unfortunately the monetization of the mode means it’s dead on arrival. I’ll enjoy it while there’s a couple of active players, but after that there will be nothing left worth playing in the HS client for me

after more testing in twist can say that the format is really bad druid is ramping like crazy , warlock is making op discard things , rogue is best deck xd .
the balance is disastrous in all points .
i just don’t play anymore in the format as it is the worst format right now .
Discard lock, jade rogue is pretty much everything I see. They are both so “fun” to play against. One class rushes you down before you get to down anything, the other shuffles valuable cards in your deck while building a massive jade board. So fun…
Well yeah, that’s why I say it’s imbalanced. The mode itself is good, they just need to tone down a few decks. Standard isn’t bad because of overpowered decks, it’s broken down to the core.
Standard is much better than the mess twist is. In standard, I can play pretty much any class I want and still win, doesn’t happen for twist though.

Standard is 10 times as good as twist, the stage is set warlock is the best followed by rogue, all other classes just pale in comparison. Its so hard to get the 4 old gods quest done.

Sad to say that early thoughts on it were right. I just face Rogue and Warlocks. Pain.

Sadly, i have to admit, this twist is a failure.
I was really, really hopeful for the format, this is something i always wanted, revisit meta of the past, play cards that haven’t been played in year.
And it first, during the first week, it was that, i played some c’thun, some n’zoth, some jade, some reno, some murlocs. Then the meta became “solved” and the 3 winners were clear for everyone.
It was not the meta of the past, it is a new abomination of a meta, and i blame the new cards from the cavern of time, in particular
- Jade telegram
- The Scarab Lord
- Chamber of Viscidus
And the sad part, since those card are part of the new cavern of time set they try tp promote, we’re going to endure them for years to come. Twist is ruined for me.

Well, Rogue was a bit of a surprise but anyone and their mother could have said before release that Warlock location is busted and in tandem with the confusing buff to Tiny Knight will make discard Warlock stupidly OP.
