I just played in twist against decks from previous season. Rule was changed but players are still able to use old decks.

It’s still February 29th for many players
Surely it uses the central server date, not the local date of each individual player, to determine what format is legal?
That would make the most sense, but the OP states that the rules have changed, but I can still queue with my deck from last season
The menu states that the season will end about 7 hours 45 minutes from now
The new season started for all players in EU. In all previous seasons it’s never happens.
If it has already changed for EU, I’m curious if it’s a bug that has something to do with the way twist expansions will change every day this month
I lalk to player who use deck from previous season. The new season is started for him. He was dropped to bronze. And he can’t create deck by new rules. He just can create decks just by old rules - only common cards. And for me it’s opposite.
Played Twist on 1 March - this isn’t classic mode: in deck can be cards from other expantions, absent most of cards from collection and can’t add cards from old set to deck, old classic cards are balanced. This is not old good classic
yes it’s not, but topic not about that. It’s about how people can play dragon warriors with card like: spell - add two random card for 2 mana. And others common cards from any expantions.
Blizzard didn’t test their code before launch in production. Nice 10 years of HS celebrating

Its as been stated in this very topic that different servers planned for different times to change their format.
Are you implying that several formats were available on the same server at the same time ?
Cause I checked both America and Europe over the night and the decks I was able to create corresponded to the rule that was displayed in the twist mode page.
Europe was already on the anniversary format while America was still on the old format with 6 hours remaining.

Well according to today’s rule you can only play with legacy cards, and what you show are legacy cards. The rule is not classic as we were expecting.
We most certainly knew that we would be playing old formats with current cards (keeping nerfs and buffs that were not done at their time) but this one is unexpected ^^
But yeah that’s messed up
Browsing through the actual legacy set and comparing to twist set it doesn’t line up
Some legendaries are playable in twist but some others are not
I did need to close and reopen the game to get the filter to change. It is strange, I see the original promo and reward cards (Gelbin, ETC, Captain’s Parrot, Old Murk Eye), old basic cards, cards that left Core but weren’t in Hearthstone when it started, but not the Classic set. I guess when you started you just had Basic cards and none from the “expert” set yet so indeed we can play like we’ve just started in 2014 if we want XD
You see only COMMON Card. And the set is Heritage.
Also Rare Epic and legendary (except event card geblin, ETC …) are removed like the last month brawl.
