Tried the new list the VS report said was looking good, to a similar powerlevel as zarimi priest. I am having a blast! And they weren’t lying, this deck feels very good. I invite everyone to give it a try if you’re hungry for something new-ish

I one up you and present to you the best of both worlds. Zarimi Overheal priest. Yes, it’s really strong. I’ve been revising this list ever since the expansion came out. This thing is truly horrifying. But also fairly complex.

We all know those aren’t real priest decks, mana curve is too low. Real priests don’t value wins, they value GREED.
you speak for all?
no you don’t.

It takes a bit to get used to, and OTK decks are a pain (tbe) but overall its a really fun deck. It does continue the grand Overheal tradition of “WHERE IS THE INJURED HAULER WHEN I NEED IT”

I kinda tried to make this work, but it just seemed like too many cards to have to hit the necessary number of dragons while running a robust enough overheal package.
I think Overheal, both in control decks (I LOVE Overheal Elise decks) and tempo/aggro decks has been good for a while.
But it’s a tricky mechanic that is both hard to use in a deck and hard to build a deck for.

I just hit Diamond 5 with this deck (from Diamond 10), it was pretty quick tho I could of gotten there faster had I not messed up and lost winnable games with stupid mistakes.
Are you the disciple of schyla? Are you the prophet of the greed lords? Have you come at last to herald the return of the glory of greed??!
Your obsession of me is entertaining. Keep it up, please.

He hasn’t reached the level of Stalker that Scrotie got so feel fortunate.
Scale replica tutors your lowest and your highest cost dragon. Gorgonzormu is your lowest cost, so it always tutors gorgonzormu and clay matriarch. The second scale replica tutors for clay matriarch and zarimi. That’s all the dragons you need to get zarimi off. There are also only 3 spells. Funnel cake, scale replica, and harmonic pop, so benecolent banker will always target those specific three. There is a lot of utility baked into the deck. Pip can get more of the 1 costs too, and that includes the 1 cost clay matriarch tokens as well as the 1 cost minions you get from puppet theatre. The location itself is just a value engine. It’s the bane of every boomboss, titan, and helya around. Copying an unkilliax and the boom to ressurect em can be clutch in the grindy matchups. Clergy is a really strong draw engine with the 1 costs (especially when pip copies a few of em) too.
It also has hedanis, as well as raza and papercraft angel, so it can do some surprise otks if it gets the opportunity. The deck has many things it can do and playing it isn’t straightforward or linear at all. That’s why I said it’s fairly complex. It has a learning curve to it, but it’s a really good deck and it feels to me like any game can be winnable with it.

I have really been enjoying this deck! I have been thinking for a while now of how well the two deck types might work together but never thought of using scale replica like you have. Any thoughts on best mulligans?
Resurrection is very annoying. Should probably resurrect with damaged HP, instead of full xD
I mean, if it’s barely competitive, then I guess not, but seriously, ress-ing such a strong 4 mana legendary minion in its full strength for 3 mana (or even 1, with Love Everlasting) shouldn’t be possible.
In its full strength, it’s worth at least 5 mana, possibly 6
I’ve actually refined this list since I posted it. Cut two of the reactive and slow cards. There’s no need for harmonic pop and benevolent banker is too slow. In place of banker I’m using heartthrob. And in place of harmonic pop I’m using brain masseuse. The extra proactivity wins extra games. I’m sitting at a 41 - 20 win rate since I hit legend. I started in the legend 6500 range and I’m down to around the 2900 range atm. I could probably reach even lower if I had the time to play. This deck is powerful when you learn how to use it. The hedanis popoffs are quite fun too.

Interesting deck but not one to be played in a general meta. This is a deck for a very specific set of decks you are playing most commonly. I can see where it would be powerful but i would not recommend an average player or even one climbing through the ranks play it.
