The turn timers arent any different.
We used to either spend 3-4 minutes watching combat with undead/whatever boards or restart game and spend that time in the tavern anyways.

They feel longer today than the last few days. Like they changed the combat speed up awhile ago, but only today am I seeing the timer say 199s.
Like seriously what are the odds that everyone has been playing this since the past update but only today suddenly felt like the turns were way longer and all came to the forums to post about it. I only came to forums because the turns are suddenly 50% longer and didn’t need to make a post because theres is already 5+ other posts about it all of a sudden.
It’s only for Duo’s. You either have to accept it or go to regular BG’s.
I can also complain about it. 2+ minutes is outrageous. Hearthstone dev said they will be adjusting it soon, they made it too long clearly.
I Highly disagree that there is no difference. Speeding up the fights was a win. Adding more time to the tavern phase was a loss. I am glad you are fine with the long waits, but a large amount of people, including me are losing(/have lost) interest because of that wait.
Awesome news. I trust you have a source so I will go to bed happy tonight and pretend it will all be better by monday.
Mitchell Loewen (bg dev) said on a reddit post about the timer being too long “Bumped time wasn’t supposed to be that much. We’re on it and it’ll be adjusted next hotfix.”
So I am very hopeful. Cant say how long it will take them to hotfix it, but at least they are aware of it and the increase wasn’t intended to be this long.
What I actually find really sad is that the devs are using reddit when they have their own forum platform. It blows my mind that they have a community they started and control and just ignore it except for patch notes. Wasted opportunities. It is so hard for me to fathom that I refuse to use reddit to communicate with them out of principle.
Yeah it would really be nice for them to post about it here, but hey its something. Gives me some hope because I actually enjoy duos more than solo but I really cant keep playing if the matches are going to be an hour long with 75% of it staring at a timer.
Reddit is a broader format forum system. The blizzard forums are generally not as wide reaching. you will see more game info on “X”, Reddit and Tik Tok
Seriously please change the timer back. This makes duos unplayable and absolutely not fun to wait over 3 minutes after each round. I wont play until the timer is normal.
Stange. My best friend was saying just last night how much he was really enjoying battlegrounds duos. We played until 4am.
Though, continuing to take info from sources other than their own platform, encourages people to use every other platform.
Encouraging people to use this instead, while mostly ignoring the outside instead, would centralize the feedback to one place - here - instead of having them go hunting for it on the WWW
