People say Zoolock is a good deck for beating Token druid but HOW? They can generate more minions, using less cards in the process, and buff them more consistently. Not to mention swipe decimates zoolock. How is this a good matchup? Magic carpet play requires a lot of mana, uses all the cards in your hand, if they refill the board again you’re done, if they played soul of the forest then theres no point in even doing the play because at the end of it they still have a full board and you have no board and no hand. Wtf am I missing here?

Zoo uses better-statted minions in general (turn 1 Voidwalker or Crystallizer beats Acornbearer, any 2-drop or Flame Imp kill Dreamway Dryads). It’s easy to snowball from there, preventing druid from having any form of board to continue with.

Sea Giants. Token druids generally don’t use those.

Magic Carpet, Knife Juggler and lackeys allow you to pick up small tokens efficiently and immediately. By the time they’re able to cast Forest’s Aid, or use Soul of the Forest on any meaningful board state, you’ve already won.
You should be getting your aggression going much earlier than a token druid, and lifetap is what enables zoo to even exist. If you are running out of resources as zoo something is wrong. If you know swipe destroys you, then play accordingly.
Post your list .
Because Zoolock has more powerful openers than Token Druid if you’re playing the deck right. Zoolock minions generally have better stats than tokens.
And because Knife Juggler.
And because Druid has no easy way to get rid of a Sea Giant without burning valuable spells/trading.
