Hello.
Right after the latest update Bitdefender reports a
Trojan.Heur.GZ.Hu4@be@BjFm
within the file Hearthstone\Hearthstone_Data\Plugins\x86\audioplugin_fluxer.dll
Can anyone confirm this or is it a false alarm?

Same here - I wrote a request to support. waiting for answer, I saw some posts form 2023 with the same problem. I hope its false alarm too
I received it as well. I know that the bnet client years ago was compromised and fixed from an exploit that someone would own your system if they exploited it since bnet client already has admin rights. Hopefully this is a false positive instead of a vulnerability being exploited maliciously
im not a security expert so dont trust me , but this happened in the past multiple times with same file , cleary the fact that blizzard made this happen again is very very bad.
Last time it happened i checked daily the virustotal report of the file , first days only some av was reporting it , successive days multiple av reported it , after a week multiple av started to remove it from positive list ( like it was a false positive ).
What i suspect is instead of preventing the problem , blizzard sends the file to big av vendors to check it and whitelist it , but this don’t prevent early heuristic detection’s.
edit: at least back in the past , they put it in the know issues
THIS IS FROM AN OLD PATCH , NOT CURRENT PATCH
The same thing happened to me. I logged in about 20 minutes ago, and my security system instantly popped up a warning that a trojan virus was detected. The file affected was Hearthstone\Hearthstone_Data\Plugins\x86\audioplugin_fluxer.dll
The name of the trojan was different than the one that OP listed though, not sure what that means.
Not suprised, even PC fans go crazy like I have malware (since wow dragonflight)
I set Elden Ring on max , no problems…
