If you dredge a card and then trade a card the card that you get from trading will always be the dredged card.
Not sure if it works for all dredged cards but I can confirm that it works with harpoon gun and any tradeable card.
Trade has always pulled the top card of your deck, this isn’t new and it isn’t a bug.

you scared me i thought they bugged it and we couldnt get the dredged card !
That’s intentional: trading doesn’t shuffle the deck… for some reason. I really wonder how that would work with putting the card back in the deck in a truly random spot (I know, it’s a virtual card game so shuffling isn’t necessary as the game can randomize on its own, but before Tradeable they always emulated how you’d put cards in a random place in your deck in real life, AKA by shuffling it).
It used to shuffle but they changed it in a patch.

The shuffle only happened after the draw anyway, it just now inserts itself into your deck at a random slot.
Trading a card has always drawn the top card of your deck as its first action.

Oh, whoops! I guess i didn’t realize trading is supposed to draw from the top. For some reason my mind thought that if i shuffle a card back into the deck i should get a random card from my deck not the top.
Also i thought i posted this in the bug report forum, my bad.
