Why’d this get resurrected… This topic is purely ridiculous. It was made solely to troll and people took a bite. Grow up and get over it, is my stance. Moreover, I don’t believe the OP genuinely believes what he or she is saying. He or she is being disingenuous.
I was low key on board until your update with psychological papers and whatnot making me realize that you’re just a sensitive snowflake. No child is upset that a virtual card with a voice line says the word “loser.” You’re insane and just want the attention you’re receiving.

I am also sensitive to the voice lines and the teasing and taunting, which is why I always squelch my opponent’s emotes and have been advocating for a squelch toggle (so we don’t have to press it every single game). Generally, the scripted card voicelines aren’t as bothersome to me. The Pen Flinger, however, is a little different, since the typical way this is played is to play and replay the card mulitple times per turn by using 0 or 1 mana spells. A single “Hey Loser!” is one thing, but being hit with it over and over and over and over and over really is bothersome.
I’d caution against telling people how to feel. There’s no right and wrong way to feel. You just feel how you feel.
That’s right. Everyone has different things that trigger their emotions based on the experiences they’ve had in their life.
Lol, a sensitive snowflake? If you knew me personally, you would know that I am far from being a sensitive snowflake. But one thing is certain, I don’t belittle other’s by calling them names or placing labels on them for voicing an opinion.
