ToT- Stuck on infinite Bob

I was playing through chapter 1 of Tombs of Terror on iOS, when my game crashed. Upon reopening it I was brought to a screen labeled “Challenge 1/0” with no background and bartender bob as the next event. Playing this was a normal bazaar, but after completion I was returned to the same page I’d just left, with all changes to my deck. This opens up whenever I attempt to launch normal Tombs of Terror, but I’m still able to play all parts of the game excluding that.

same here but on chapter 4 heroic mobile. stuck with infinite bazaar bob. Can’t concede or leave this infinite loop. The pic of the next encounter is a normal boss but whadya know its bazaar bob back again. Have tried this encounter 40+ times but still doesn’t let me leave, but keeps deck changes. Plus side, each encounter gives hero xp, so free levels i guess.

I just had this happen to me on Wing 3 of Heroic.

I have no way out. I’m playing as Reno, and I can’t continue.

I have the same problem, it happend on CHapter 5 as Reno. It began with the First Boss… i did not get the Boss but the Bazaar Bob. And this continues forever…

same here someone have solution?

I am experiencing this issue as well. Despite pointing Support directly to this thread (which is only 2 days old) I received the following response from Support:

Hi there . I hope this finds you well.

I understand you’ve been having some trouble with Tombs of Terror not allowing you to progress. I’m sorry you’ve been having issues with that!

I did some digging to see what I could find for you. This is an issue that was occurring until last week. There was a patch that came through that should have fixed this, so try the following troubleshooting steps.

If playing on a Mobile Phone:

  1. Log out of app
  2. Delete app
  3. Download a new copy of the app and install

If playing on a computer, check to make sure you have the latest version of the game:

  1. Launch the Blizzard Battle[dot]net Desktop App
  2. Go to the Hearthstone tab
  3. Look for the game version on the left side of the Play Tab. (Should be Version 15.2.2.34104)

If this is not the version you see, uninstall the game and reinstall it to catch the update:

  1. On Hearthstone tab, go to Options dropdown menu
  2. Choose Uninstall
  3. Follow the prompts to completely uninstall the game, then follow the steps in these articles to uninstall your Battle[dot]net Cache and files:
    • bnet/support/article/000034721
    • bnet/support/article/000034719
  4. Relaunch Blizzard Battle[dot]net Desktop App
  5. Reinstall Hearthstone

The version I have installed is 15.2.2.34104.
I ran scan and repair; no change.
I uninstalled, cleared cache, and then reinstalled on PC (version 15.2.2.34104); no change.

Tried it on another PC, didnt help. 34104 is the current version for me too.

Happened to me with a new Finley run on normal. Put in a ticket today and this is what I received:

Specialist Game Master Tuzlarhan here, or Tuz for short. As the name Tuzlarhan can be quite a mouth full. Let’s jump right into this and get all this sorted out!
Let’s work on completely uninstalling Hearthstone and reinstalling it. This should clear up the issue that could be occurring with the game client files. You certainly have one heck of a deck at this point too that is saved as well. This link explains how to uninstall and reinstall the game.

Uninstalled and re-installed after that response and I’m still stuck on the “bizarre” bazaar encounter. Bob just doesn’t seem to want to let me go!

I am having the same issue, and reinstalling didn’t help.

It cannot help to reinstall the game becos you would alter a process inside the game… otherwise you could also cheat if that would work imho…
so i guess we need to wait for a working patch :frowning:

Same issue here. Had Bob as my first encounter and then it looped the “Challenge 1/0”. (no crash as far as i can remember)
