That’s a bit of a soft counter in that it’ll just copy what they put in there. Question still remains if Indindius buffs the eruptions directly or if it is a counter on the player. If it’s the second one, you’d only get 1 damage eruptions.

And if it copies them at full strength, then it’s more about who is luckier about drawing the eruptions.

Could probably test that now if you played against a friend and shuffle a Floppy Hydra and have the other person copy the deck with Tony. If the changed stats remain, it would probably work with Incindius as well.

Now if we are just guessing, I’ll guess it does. It makes more sense for Tony to make an exact copy of the deck. I doubt they would bother coding it to not retain the exact copy since it sounds like more work than just copying it exact.

Floppy hydra isn’t the same mechanic. It doesn’t buff all the floppy hydras in your deck, just itself.

Not really a counter, but if you can play Tony while you have your own Incindius in hand, you can have 10 eruptions in your deck, so that’s nice

Although a bit slow

Your eruptions dont gain bonus damage so you end up stuck with a different deck and only 1 damage pings. I think Tony hurts more than it helps. Especially if their deck is built to draw fast and not even give you much to work with anyway.

Normally i would say just aggro them down asap but i doubt a deck with Incindius in it is just strictly doing that. It’s going to be some kind of hybrid elemental deck that uses this effect to finish the game. If a deck can be found that does it like this it’s going to be a nightmare to try and counter.
