Battlegrounds is not my preferred mode in hearthstone. I do enjoy playing it from time to time. However, I was wondering if any of you BG veterans could clarify something for me.
How many copies of each card are in a deck? Does the amount of copies changed based on minion tier type? or Rarity?
Tavern Tier |
Copies of each minion |
1 |
16 |
2 |
15 |
3 |
13 |
4 |
11 |
5 |
9 |
6 |
7 |
Copies are shared among all 8 players. Golden versions count as 3 copies each. If a player is eliminated, their copies return to the communal pool.
Additionally, discovered minions dont come from the “deck”, so the numbers might look off in some games.
So then for example Lava Lurker would have 15 copies of that card because it’s a tier 2, which all 8 players and look for?
Does the pool of distribution change if a player drops at the start of the game?
So for those additional minions that were discovered, they don’t impact the level of copies already in the deck?
That I am not sure of, relatively new to BG’s myself. I dont think “discovered” minions go back into the deck when a player dies/sells them, but I simply dont know and my day was too long to go searching for an answer right now. To me it makes sense they dont, but that would require more coding so might have gone in the “too hard” basket.
E: They dont come from the deck if thats what you mean, they come from outside the game. Just not sure if they go back to the nether or deck once sold or the player with them dies.
