On the special mission track for Titans i have the mission to play 3 Titans. I already played more than that in my previous games and i didnt receive any completion on that mission. Is it a bug or am I missing something about it? I tried to close the game and open it again and it does nothing. Someone please help me, i want the rewards from that track because i am mostly a free-to-play player.
You probably played the Rogue Titan, right? There is currently a bug with this Titan so you have to use another one for this quest.
It isnt a bug, a T1T4N is not a TITAN. its a clever disguise and gives the rogue class a high level of guile that a lot of folk would call it one. but it is clearly not a TITAN.
The same problem in quests, it does not count the titans, and I tried different ones, for different classes and general ones I tried no sense
It is a bug. While it gets a sneaky name it is still a Titan. Each class gets one Titan, filter in the collections and you will see it. It also does count for the weekly quest to play ten Titans but did not count for the time sensitive promo quests. That is a bug.
But it is a Titan, it counts for the other Titan quest and comes up when you search Titan. Don’t keep peddling this pet theory…
I search the term Extra and I get Diamond Vanndarr Stormpike. I dont have any other copies of it, nor does it say Extra anywhere in its text including flavor text. But it is a result for me. Therefore It is an Extra.
I see your point, and I admit I had no knowledge of the other quest for TITANS and it counting for it. Personally I dont see why it should count as its a not a living being but a machine. is forced to rewatch Measure of a Man from Star Trek TNG even after all that good arguing from Picard I wouldnt claim Data to be a TITAN anymore than Voltron being one. I think it passing for one by the card filtering and the abilities matching and way it can be played is A+ for it being a Rogue’s TITAN as it is being something it isnt but its passing for one. Guile to the max. The fact that it counts for the other quest would be what id argue is the bug. I didnt have 2 different PLay X number of titans nor did I have access to Voltron for my TITAN i could play. So obviously I was already missing out on some clues yall had that I didnt. But even given all that I still dont think it ought to authentically count as one.
I can give you three good reasons it should
- Mimiron is one of the Titans and he is a machine
- Each Class got one Titan it would be horrible to give Rogues a non-titan
- I don’t have the dust to craft another Titan
point 1: who?
point two: I agree it wouldnt fair to not give them something that the others got. However since the nature of rogue includes traits the others dont share, I would say its fair to give them a way of acting like a TITAN but not being one authentically. Guile. As in Disguise. Like their stealth abilities. Their sneakiness. ETC. For all other traits it still passes, but It just makes sense for a machine in rogue to pretend to be a TITAN.
3: neither do I. I used the Tavern Brawl to do the event quest.
Mimiron is a Titan in WoW (you know the game the card game is based around)
Here are a few easy ways to determine whether a card is a Titan.
- Does it have three abilities that can each be used once?
- Can it only attack after all abilities have been used?
- Was it revealed as one of the new Titans? (see https://eu.forums.blizzard.com/en/hearthstone/t/over-free-packs-choose-your-titan-event/9374)
- Did it participate in the “Choose your titan” event? (see https://hearthstone.blizzard.com/en-us/vote/choose-your-titan)
If the above questions are answered with yes, then it surely must be a Titan.
Thats a subjective point of view. For me as I play Wow Classic, I get to experience it the other way around. I knew of Ragnaros because of BGs years before I got to see him in WoW Classic. It was a pleasant surprise to witness the actual size of King Mukla being a behemoth King Kong reference which isnt conveyed at all in Hearthstone. I was literally floored by how huge he is and same for Ragnaros. I had in my mind that all the bgs heroes were around the same humanoid size scale as Arthas and the gnomes… nothing in HS gives you a sense of scale like what you get to see in WoW. ANyhoo, im getting the reverse experience and it is amazing seeing a game made entirely around Hearthstone characters and cards woven together out of seemingly unrelated minions and heroes. Its a lot like discovering Michael Jackson for the first time after knowing the Weird Al versions your whole life and never knowing that MJ was thing. You can say one followed the other chronologically, but much like many others would argue, the order of Star wars is not 123456789 nor is it 456123789. its the order you saw them in to begin with.
How does any of that discount that Mimiron (who you meet in WotLK) being a Titan? First WoW lore says he is. Second he is in the the workshop of the Titans Uldular. Your perspective doesn’t matter, it’s lore. So saying a Machine can’t be titan is false.
Anyway we are getting off topic. T1TIAN should be considered a titan as my self and others have gven you ample reasons why. This is a bug that blizz should fix and I shouldn’t have to jumpo through extra hoops to complete things like the tavern brawls
settle down and cool your jets dude. No need to be so feisty. Im allowed to have a take on something and you are allowed to disagree with it. Just as I disagree with whomever you say claims that the machine is a TITAN. Which is a being 1 step higher than Gods are. And since I dont think a machine can even become a God making one a TITAN is right out not contemplatable. From my perspective. You can disagree just like I do about it being one. It doesnt matter but for all it matters it just sounds like the bug isnt a bug to me. But a clearly clever ruse which is in character with the class.
see but you are disagreeing with the actual Lore of WoW… and I don’t get how you CAN disagree with the lore of an entire world/ universe, and the fact you don’t even know who Mimiron is is telling that you are making an ill informed opinion. That siad sure you can have an ill informed opinion I suppose…
I am getting testy because you postulated an un proven theory then when called out on a bug being a being a bug proceeded to defend in bad faith. So, for that reason I will not be responding any further.
I dont make it a habit of doing homework after I left school. Apologies for not reading all the take home reading needed for WoW. But as this is Hearthstone and my first exposure to all the characters, their backstories from WoW are essentially irrelevant to me until I encounter them in Classic WoW. Whereas I was basing my understanding of the term Titan to be from mythology being the rung above the Gods of the Pantheon. So the giant entities above the level of Zeus and his whole extended family of Deities. So naturally, a machine, would not constitute as one of those. Much like the other gigantic Kaiju level beings of sentience I dont count the MegaZord or Voltron or even Optimus Prime as a Kaiju nor would I consider any of them a Titan.
If WoW wants to pollute its own lore by labeling a machine as a Titan. and thats the hill you wanna die on about it, go ahead. I still think it isnt a bug the way you are seeing it. I still think its a bug that it counted at all for the other quest. Thats my take on it and obviously your’s differs. Thats allowed, yknow?
Ill informed may be correct, but also unnecessary extra curricular elective homework is what you are talking about. So you get the Rogue’s Combo Points for doing the reading. These count the same as a Teacher giving gold star stickers as Rogues make no sense at all in WoW and in HS.
If you want to base your conclusions on Hearthstone (which, for the record, I believe to be a smart idea), then there is a much simpler way to verify which cards are titans and which are not, without bothering with lore and potentially ambiguous decisions.
Simply play the card and check whether three blue circles appear below it. Click it and see if you can select an ability.
And in case that doesn’t convince you, go back to he Blizzard blogs when the Titan card type was announced, where they introduced each titan and then held a popularity contest between all of them.
You may choose your own hill. But anyone who actually reads what Blizzard writes and who actually plays the game can only conclude that V-07 TR0-N it a titan.
I was unable to finish the mission because of this bug and now it’s over. Will we be compensated?
