Titans nonsense?

If titans’ abilities are considered attacks, why can they use them immediately as if they had charge/rush?:upside_down_face:

Idk. Why are titans excluded from the discovery pool, but only sometimes?

well
they have charge

Are they considerd attacks? Do you have link to some official source where is said Titan ability works same like attack? AFAIK Titan ability has own set of rules - some are shared with attack (can’t be used when minuon is freezed) some are specific for the ability (can be used imediately when Titan is played).

Don’t know what happens if you give Titan windfury - would it be able to use ability twice in the same turn? Can be tested now with Paladin or Shaman.

Description says “Use a Titan’s ability instead of attacking” :man_shrugging:t2::man_shrugging:t2:

Is that written somewhere? I miss this

Hmmm, I think they described that in some patch notes just before Titans exp came out. I am on my phone with pretty bad inet connection, so I won’t even try to find it.

I am still interested how windfury interaction would work. Anyone here to test and report?

When you give a titan windfury it is able to using its abilities twice and for megawindfurry all abilities this was confirmed to be how they would work so if you can give them in wild windfury you could some pretty cool stuf you could even copy them on board

So freezing a Titan would make it unable to use its ability?

Yes. Thats correct. A frozen titan acnnot activate abilities. If you freeze one youll notice the dots underneath it dissapear as well.

Titans are their way of putting Planeswalkers in the game except they did it incorrectly. They coded them like minions with weird abilities and interactions, instead of creating a new class/tribe with new rules.

Titans do have charge. If you cast Reverberations on a Titan that has used all of its abilities, for example, the copy you generate can attack immediately.

i always viewed the hero cards as planeswalkers

The way titans work reminds me more of kicker cards in mtg than planeswalkers in how they work

Because playing a vanilla 7 mana 3/12 or a 9 mana 6/12 is terrible, they have to have rush to be remotely useful.

It kinda does, because if your Titan gets frozen, you unable to activate any of their abilities until your next turn.

Oh, and I just noticed I this was already mentioned.

On the topic of titans, I think there’s another thing that makes no sense to me. Titans are supposed to be very extremely powerful ( arguably more powerful than any other minions) that are akin to gods.
Except a 1 mana freeze spell from a mortal mage can render them useless? Seems out of line to me.

It sure is weird that gods can be killed. Let’s make them indestructible by any means.

Except Reno, of course.

They are excluded from normal discoveries pools.

Basically the ones players can’t interfere with.

A example of discovery pools titans can be are like:
